Ok this is LOTION. I guess I’ve never experienced a real lotion until now. I am so surprised! This really doesn’t have much of a scent which is fine with me. I normally have very sensitive skin but had no issues. It looks like a light cream but goes on almost like a gel and dries quickly- and you can’t feel it, as in, it doesn’t feel heavy or like it’s suffocating your skin all day. Even in the recent heat, which I normally can’t stand anything on my skin for fear of being even hotter, this didn’t phase me a bit. It is weightless and like a dream. My skin has stayed moisturized and even after a shower and when I go to apply more lotion, my skin is still hydrated and soft! Will be recommending to others and definitely will be purchasing again!

So I would just like to start off by saying that I have had this product for months now and have been using it almost every day since. I love it! The smell is subtle so it’s perfect for those who are smell sensitive. It leaves my skin looking glowy and it glides in while my skin is dry rather than putting it on right out of the shower. It doesn’t feel super thick once it’s fully applied and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky either, which is typically why I hate putting lotion on. The primary reason I’m here writing a review so many months later is because I just got back from a trip to the beach where, day 1, I got burned to a crisp. I immediately started using this post-burn twice a day for the rest of my trip and good gracious what a skin saver!!! Not only did it feel SUPER soothing to my burn but I barely peeled, when normally I’d really be suffering. My skin is bronze and looks constantly glowing because of this lotion. I initially bought this lotion because it was a 2 pack and was on sale but I will definitely be adding it to a subscription. I also would like to say that with as often as I use this lotion, I am just now on to my second bottle. If you hesitate at all to buy this, let me save you the second thought and say, go ahead and put it in your cart because I promise you won’t regret it!

This Medix 5.5 Argan Oil + Coconut Oil Skin Care Set is a nice moisturizing duo. After using both, I can say they do a great job of smoothing skin texture and relieving dryness. My skin definitely felt hydrated and soft after finishing both bottles. However, the texture wasn’t perfect for me in terms of application. The Argan Oil + Vitamin E lotion felt less smooth compared to the Coconut Oil + Manuka Honey one. Both lotions dry down to a soft, non-greasy finish, but there’s a sticky feeling during application, which I didn’t love. As for the scent, the coconut fragrance is strong at first but fades within 10 minutes, so it wasn’t overwhelming. My biggest issue is that for the price, I expected a better experience. While it works well, the texture and overall feel don't justify the cost, so I probably won’t be repurchasing.

I have 1 in my bedroom and one in my bedroom. They are slightly different fragrances and both are light and softening.

I love the Medix products! Argan is my personal fave. The ingredients are most important for me, and these are healthy and lacking a lot of toxic things in many other lotions. Our skin is the largest organ of our body, but we often don’t think about what we are putting on it. Both have a lovely light smell that isn’t overpowering. The Argan is probably a bit lighter, so I use the coconut when I need serious moisturizer, and the argan more for daily use. Although, both are great for regular use. I used the argan yesterday, and this morning my legs are still soft and moisturized. I’ve tried so many lotions commercial and hand made, the Medix line consistently stays at the top of my list.

I got the twin pack with coconut and argan oil. The coconut smells great and absorbs quickly, but the other one in the orange bottle smells horrible. I disposed of it.
