Spectre Performance 5965 Chrome Fuel Filter Canister

I installed this filter on a classic car and within 20 minutes of driving the vehicle began to sputter. After an hour of problem solving I discovered that the inside filter element came separated from the outer housing. This basically allowed sediment from the gas tank to pass through the filter and into the carb. As you can imaging my next step was to have the carb rebuilt as well as replace the fuel filter. I WOULD NOT trust or use this filter ever again. Costly repairs because of a cheap filter. Lesson learned

I bought two of these filters as replaces for older ones, they arrived quick and an in good condition.

Fits perfectly on my 1994 Chevy k2500 5.7l and easy to install.

The element has seemed to come loose inside it it rattles now. Hasn't had much gas going through it. Maybe so lumpy cam shaking it. Need to take it off to see if I'm still filtering
