As a hairstylist these work very well, I am retired so only cut families hair, nice to have clippers that are quiet, comes with guards if you want them and a protector tip while storing them. They work good and , cut well no pinching , feel as if they are made well.

I was a little weary about theses clippers and the trimmers because my mom is a professional cosmetologist and has lent me her almost $200 clippers in the past. Those things cut like butter. These clippers exceeded my expectations and I’ve fallen in love with them. They did not pull, they did not get hot, and the lines in the hair were very minimal. Downside someone might find to these clippers is they are heavy and they have quite a bit of vibration to them, my hand was actually tingling when I was finished cutting. The peanut is a great little trimmer, however it is loud. Not too much vibration. Probably doesn’t cut as low as someone might desire, but decent for getting the neck area and a beard on a bearded barbarian, lol! It was necessary for me to keep the blades clean to keep both units running well, otherwise they would gunk up and not cut. Overall, for the first cut, I’m happy with them.

I bought a set identical to this in 2010 to cut my husband's hair and my son's hair. I have used these about once a month since 2010. Here lately, I noticed the blades were getting dull and the motor on the Peanut was starting to sound like it was fixing to quit working, so I bought this new set. I absolutely love it, and these last forever....as long as you take care of them. This brand is, by far, my most favorite to use!

Clippers overall are really sturdy (heavy) and loud set. It was an amazing haircut and the blending was beautiful but When I went down to fade away 1/2 line with a 0 it literally will not blend it. I have 20$ clippers that ultimately did better. Although the grade of these are worth it because they will last you forever if you take care for them. I used a 1” guard to buzz my head and it was longer than other clippers that I’ve used. Ultimately I’m really disappointed because I aesthetically they’re gorgeous. If you do taper fades these probably could work well for you. Also the peanut didn’t really do much more me.

We've had this brand clipper for years, and finally the motor pooped out. I wasn't able to find this particular clipper on the Wahl website. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. This clipper set is great! Makes a close buzz on my husband's noggin. I like the peanut trimmer to trim the areas around his ears, and to clean up. I highly recommend this set.
