red and black reversed
Red and black wire colors are reversed on the cable I received, compared to the original DELL cable pulled from the laptop. (In the photo, the new cable is on the left, the DELL cable us on the right.Red and black are typically used to identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of a battery. For a 19.5V DC circuit for powering electronics and charging battery, the polarity is important. i.e. definitely do NOT want the positive and negative reversed.The way the plug is designed, it's not possible to connect it backwards.I am not willing to risk the polarity reversed. It could be tested with a digital multimeter to verify, even if the colors matched that doesn't guarantee. Made me leery enough I decided not to use this replacement cable.

wrong part
according to description should fit Dell15-7000 series laptop, it's not a 4.5x3.0 size jack, it's bigger. that would be a handy piece of info in the description
