Was dubious about matt grill plates. Not now, originals are well overpriced and porcelain coated and food always sticks. Read properly, no need to season these just make up an olive oil with whatever seasoning marinade food and when nearly done baste with whatever sauce and turn down the heat. For clean up i use a water and vinegar mix in a spray bottle when grills are cold turn on heat until 200 then brush clean wipe down with wet kitchen roll.

Perfect and made a world of difference to our 12 year old Weber, wish I'd found these earlier as previously was shocked at what Weber wanted for replacement plates. If your plates are tired then don't hesitate to get these.We got some new burners too....

I bought this two piece grate to replace the original single piece grate.The quality is really good and the two halves fit perfectly without needing any additional fittings. So nice to have the choice of the open or chargrilling centre section.Very happy with my purchase.
