Sony Premium Jacket Case (LCJRXK/B) for RX100 Series Digital Still Cameras, Black, Small

Very good case for Sony RX100 camera. Fits perfectly, good protection, well made, and easily opens for picture taking. Recommended.

I bought the Sony to use while traveling, in place of my much larger Canon 6D. Likewise, I wanted something to protect it but also not increase the size. These molded cases offer great protection, and you can use the camera by simply folding the top part down. They also look very sharp. As noted, to get to the card or battery, you have to remove the camera from the case, which isn't that big of a deal, you silly unscrew the the thumb screw. I looked at other designs that offered access to the bottom while the case was on, but kept coming back to this design. It fits the camera like a glove, is ( or looks like) leather, and adds hardly any extra bulk.

Just a bit spendy. AND: the grip we all spent good money on will not fit under the case. However, the case now fills that function. Grip no longer needed.

I have a Sony Rx100 VII. This case is gorgeous first of all, the quality of the leather feels very luxurious. It also literally screws into the bottom of the camera so it’s super secure. You can unsnap the front part of the cover and have super easy quick access instantly. And since the camera screws into the case there will be no pickpocketing it off you. The strap is long and comfortable.

I just bought this case for my Sony RX 100 vii. It only takes a few seconds to remove the case from the camera if you need to change the battery or the card. I did have to remove the Sony grip that I had put on the camera. Otherwise, the camera does not fit in the case. I reinstalled the grip on the outside of the case for a little extra security. And the case looks great hanging around your neck and it opens in a flash. This was a good investment.

It is worth spending the extra money for this case. It's made of excellent materials, fits perfectly, and functions exactly as it should.

When I found the Owners Manual online I saw it was a ridiculous 600+ pages I thought maybe I bought an over complicated camera. But it's easy to learn and quickly becomes intuitive. Feature I like best are:metal camera body, Carl Zeiss lens, adjustable aspect ratio, wireless photo transfer, remote control via smartphone, and lots of options for shooting. Articulating view screen is nice too. If you are tired of thepoor quality and limited options of smartphone cameras, you have to get one of these.

Nowhere near strong. One drop is all it took to come apart. Total waste of money
