best pedalboard ever
Metro 16 is a great pedalboard. The soft case is better than I expected it to be, though even still I would like to see heavier denier canvas and YKK zippers covering my expensive gear. The board itself is super solid, hard welded together with clean welds, and solid powdercoating including down into the crevices. The supplied loop and hook fastening tape is great, and there is enough of it supplied for more than a full layout. The rubber feet are good, as are the screws holding the feet to the board; we'll see how many years it takes the rubber feet to start getting that gross rubber rot so common on music gear. Just about any power supply will fit underneath the Metro; I have a Cioks DC-7 installed and it fits great. On top of the board, you can fit 14 mini pedals (Ibanez Minis, Wampler Belle, MXR Duke of Tone, TC Flashback Mini3, etc) with wiggle room or 16 minis with very compact patch cables and two millimeters of overhang on every side. Overall I am very happy with the Metro16 board. Suggestion #1 - The middle rib underneath the board is a solid sheet of metal which totally divides the underspace into two separate hemispheres. It would be great if Pedatrain would cast or drill holes in the center rib or make an arched rib so that power and patch cables could run from north to south and vice versa. I myself drilled two holes through the center rib and they are okay for passing thinner cables through, but my holes are a mess and Pedaltrain could do it better if they wanted to. Suggestion #2 - The back row would be easier to step on footswitches if it were raised 1cm. I intend to strip my board, attach 1cm wooden slats to the back row, and re-apply hook-and-loop on top of the wooden slats.

As described and good value.
Good board. Just wide enough for a basic set up. Was able to mount my power supply in it and that is nice. Very usable and a good grab and go setup.

Super Nice Small Board Option
My second Pedaltrain product. I needed a small board and the Metro fit the bill, half the size of the Junior.

I LOVE IT!
I'd been shopping exhaustively for a replacement pedalboard as my old board is a flight case and a piece of honeycomb case panelling as the board. It worked, but I had to change power supplies and was tired of dealing with power routing as surface-mount power supplies can make for a routing mess. The Metro 16 allows me to run my new Eventide/Ciocks PowerMAX underneath for a mess-free setup. My Metro 16 is so clean, compact, and lightweight, yet the case is exceptionally solid. I don't do fly dates or touring anymore, so the hard case is more than adequate and is actually very well built. It brings me joy.

That’s the ticket
Pedaltrain delivers a quality board yet again. Lightweight but dang it’s solid. I could throw this puppy from an airplane and it’d still be intact. Love the low profile and it’s perfect for what I needed it to do. I was able to fit 2 rechargeable power supplies underneath no problemo. The case is a different story. It’s ok at best but feels quite cheap. I probably wouldn’t gig with it if you value your pedals. I have at least $600 worth of pedals on the board as we speak and I’d feel uncomfortable leaving the house with it. Clasps and handle feel ready to break off out of the box. I expected a little better quality seeing as how they make the best boards out there imho

Just add pedals, power, and patch cables!
Best price you will find for a solid board with a real hard case. I own a few sizes of these metro boards and hard cases and they are great. Need to stick to slim power supplies as these are pretty low profile. Comes with a bunch of velcro and zip ties.

Pedaltrain Metro, for the win
I have several pedaltrain pedals, NOVO 24, a few of the nano line and now a few of the metro line. I love the stability of the metro format, and with the wider (or deeper depending on how you measure it), when in the case, you can store an iPad in the case (which I used for sheet music). I always mount a one spot power brick under it. Any of the Metro line is ideal!
