Except for the flimsy tool/screwdriver which did not fit well to unscrew the back...the battery and charging kit work great.

We bought this mainly for the battery. The charging cable was not as useful as it can only plug into the port it came with. It is not USB-C or USB-A. It’s nice that the installation tools came with it though.

It worked when Texas Instruments failed us.
Brought a brand new TI calculator and battery was dead upon opening the box.I bought this based on reviews and it worked great. Proved that TI unethically sells expensive calculators with dead batteries and won't replace when asked.TI wanted me to return this one to Amazon after I already installed it, but no way would I do that.I would recommend this battery!

Replacement for Texas Instruments TI 84 battery
The battery kit is a direct replacement for our Texas Instruments TI 84 Scientific Calculator. I can't vouch for longevity as I returned the item due to receiving a replacement from the warranty. The battery kit appeared well made and I'm confident it would work as intended.

Won’t hold a charge….second one I’ve ordered!!
This is the second one I’ve ordered & the first one would never hold a charge & then it got so it wouldn’t charge at all & it wasn’t 2 years old, my son is in med school & has to have a good calculator everyday….if this battery doesn’t hold a charge I will be going with a different company & battery all together….the one that came with it lasted all of high school & his first 2 years of college.

Fixed flashing screen issue!!
My 2 year old calculator wasn't charging - the screen just flashed with a message about the OS.Wanted a TI battery, but also wasn't sure if I had an issue with the charger too....popped the new battery in out of the box, and the calculator booted right up without the annoying flashing screen! The battery was partially charged so I connected the charger too. Successfully charged the rest of the way!
