I first ordered these batteries in May to help save money on my kids’ battery needs. In particular, my oldest child still sleeps with his sound machine from childhood. Several years back, they discontinued the machine and the cord shorted out. The only option keeping us a float right now was (4) AA batteries. Of course, he would leave it on after waking up and so normal batteries would last for a couple of days at most. Like you are doing now, I started searching Amazon for rechargeable options. A month or so later, I returned and bought more AA batteries (without the 2nd charger). We’ve had zero issues with them until recently. I bought this rechargeable pack of batteries to use in two electronic door locks. Regular batteries just didn't last. So far they have been great. In fact I'd like to buy more to use in my candles. It would be more economical than changing them out so often.

I use rechargeable AA and AAA batteries frequently and recently my old charger would start randomly blinking like something was wrong. Not knowing if it was the charger or the battery, I decided to order both items new. I love this charger! It came with 8 AA rechargeable batteries and charges both AAA and AA! It lays flat and comes with an 18" cord with a USB-A end. You will need your own plug. When the battery is fully charged, it will automatically stop charging. It advertised "charge any number of AA or AAA rechargeable batteries to make your charging easier." So I tried charging BOTH TYPES simultaneously and it works! How nice!!! The beauty of this is how many it can charge at once. I would never need more than 8 batteries charged at a time - its enough for my toothbrush, a flashlight or my battery operated clock.

This is my very favorite rechargeable battery duo. The charger unit never fails to fully charge and the batteries last longer than any others that I have purchased. I have replaced all past battery purchases with Powerowl. Thank you for a quality product.

Battery life is comparable to other name brand rechargeable batteries. The charger works on all brands, but the batteries become very hot if left in the charger after they're fully charged (like overnight). Unlike other chargers, this one is on all of the time unless it is unplugged.

Edit: I received a new set of AA batteries and charged them last night. All lights were green this morning. Normally, I would have some flashing red. Let’s hope that this set of batteries hold a charge. The customer service was good though. Thank you, Whitney. I purchased both the AA and the AAA charging packages and these batteries do not hold charge either. I got a bad batch of AA’s especially or this is just a really bad product. When charging them the lights kept changing which ones were charged, even though I had run them overnight for charge. The charger couldn’t decide which ones were bad or not. I tested with a battery tester and many of them were just at zero. They wouldn’t even show a voltage even though they had charged overnight. These are brand new so they haven’t gotten dirty or the charging contacts are not dirty either. I tried to contact the company or find a way to and there were no links within the power all or get product. Support wouldn’t help me at all. It just took me to some FAQs, but no contact information to resolve the issue with the company before writing a bad review. To the company: if you want to contact me, please do and I will take down the review if you resolve the issues for both the AA and the triple AAA’s. The AAA’s are a little better, but they still don’t hold charge. I do not recommend any of their batteries.

The batteries last pretty long without change in my xbox controller, and the charging works and is decently fast as far as I'm aware.

These do not work well. Don't really hold a charge. Even if you don't use the batteries, the ones in the charging case die super fast unless you keep the unit plugged in. Not impressed.
