Why this lens can not fit for gx8?

Does this lens take pictures as good as the Panasonic fixed 14mm f/2.5 when it's at 14mm and f/2.5? Which is better to get?

The X Vario 14-42 lens has a reputation for yielding pretty good images. Its strength lies in the fact that it is a very compact zoom lens- fitting nicely with the mft camera concept. I havent used the 14mm f2.5 lens but it is a so called prime lens of fixed focal length. Generally, they have better optical specs. If I could only shoot with one lens I would take the 14-42 collapsible zoom. If you want a compact fixed lens, consider the Pannasonic20mm f1.7. Its outstanding and is fairly inexpensive.
