Good Anchovies but Limited Shelf Life
I use these anchovies regularly for making Caesar salad dressing. I like the fact that the flavor isn't too strong and salty. These are not the finest I've had, but they are a good value and serviceable for dressings and sauces. My only complaint is that I recently had two cans that were a few months past their use by date and the cans were already expanded and spoiled. This really surprised me because canned fish normally can stay usable for many years if it is packed and stored correctly. I stored them in cool cupboard, so I'm not sure why this happened. If I buy this product again, I will store the unopened cans in the refrigerator and use them well before the date.

Top quality whole filets in good olive oil, add umami to any dish such as clam sauce over pasta
Roland have consistently good products and their canned anchovies add a layer of "umami" to any dish, such as linguine with clam sauce. The can is well packed with whole filets (no bits or mush) in good quality, clear golden olive oil. I eat them right out of the can (which might be a bit salty for some people) and they are my favorite pizza topping along with black olives, capers and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. Spear them on cocktail sticks as pintxos (pinchos) Basque tapas-bar style with olives, spicy peppers, cheese cubes, pickled onions or other items.

Not too many bones, not too fishy full body
So far the fish, wife anchovies are the highest quality. They are 799 a can which is outrageous and I buy them on sale for $5.99. These rolands taste pretty good. They are beefy oxymoron. They are fish I make an incredible Caesar salad with them

More oil than anchovies
I tried two tins. The anchovies taste good, but there is more oil than anchovies. Not worth the price.
