I love this product easy to assemble and my twins slept in the straight away because they where comfortable in own cots. I found it easy to get babies in and out because the side wasn't to high (i am 5f 4").Neg mattress don't fit in the same bag as the frame. Probably best for traveling if you are taking the car not a going on a plane journey.

My son found it easy to put up and fold away. My 5 month old grandson slept beautifully in the upper 'crib' position. This was his first time in a travel cot but he obviously felt secure and comfortable. Good value for money.

Seems like a good cot and mattress is comfortable however there were no instructions on how to fold it away I had to email the company who sent me pictures. They are going to update new batches with instructions. Uploading photo here on how to put it down hopefully save others time!

Excellent quality, easy to assemble, sturdy, lightweight and the baby (7 months) has slept soundly on the supplied mattress for the 4 nights he stayed with us. Highly recommended no question.

Rarely do I take time out to write a review, but this product deserves the time. Opening the box, I found a well packaged carry bag that would fit most car boots so ideal for travelling. When the bag was unzipped, it was clear how easily it would repack when you needed to take it down. The instructions to assemble and disassemble are excellent, leaving nothing to the imagination! Once assemble which took first time, 5 minutes at most, I was delighted that the mattress fitted so well and in my opinion would be sufficient for my grandson to sleep in and safe to play in when we need to get jobs done (he's at the crawling stage!) I would advise to buy a fitted sheet, which is my next move, purely for ease of cleaning as the cover on this mattress can't be removed, so whilst it can be sponged down, a change of cover means not having to wait for it to dry before using it again....off to introduce the grandson to it :)

It is very low and difficult to place a young baby into it. I am 5ft 5inches and it was tricky to gently lay the baby down because it is so low. I returned this cot to Venture because the mattress doesn't lay flat but is raised to a point in the middle when assembled. It takes a heavy object, I used 2 large books, to be placed on top of the mattress to properly flatten it until the baby is ready to use it . Venture said they disagreed with me and were kind enough to pay the postage on return but I was disappointed that would not refund me. The reason was because I had had the cot for 3 months but a travel cot is not used often, especially as it was bought for a new baby to be used at my house when my daughter stays. I had used is 3 times before I returned it. Also, the angle of the feet can be hazard as they point outwards and have caused tripping each time it is used. I have used it once since Venture returned it and have now decided to purchase a new one as the mattress issue is a real concern to me.

Really impressed with this travel cot, I was looking at a similar design but much more expensive from a different brand and I'm so glad I tried this one. Its really sturdy once assembled but once taken apart it really easily fits in the boot or even footwell of my car. Lightweight, everything fits easily into the carry bag.I'm not sure why there is so much criticism of the mattress- young babies are supposed to have a firm mattress and this is just that. Thin yes, but my son has happily slept in it for several nights now and plays happily in it too. My son is nearly 10 months old but big for his age and nearly 11kg and he has plenty of space.I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good sized travel cot that can double as a small play pen.
