Sunnydaze Modern Cascading Bowls 28-Inch Solar Water Fountain with Battery Backup and LED Lights - Submersible Pump

The water fountain is a wonderful addition to my garden. The top level is shallow enough for bees and finches to get a drink. The second level bowl has been visited by mockingbirds. The sound is exactly as I had hoped. I contacted the company because I thought the LED light had not been included. The service representative was very nice and sent out a replacement. The fountain was functional without the light and I set it up (10 minutes) and started using it. In 3 days, when the replacement light arrived, I just had to disconnect the pump and lift off the top bowl to put it in. Imagine my surprise when I found the original light inside the interior of the bowl. The light does not have an independent on/off switch but if you don't want it on, it is easy to disconnect from the solar panel. I found the fountain easy to operate on solar power and battery power.

Though packed in styrofoam, the top of the fountain is cracked and loose pieces of cracked fountain are in the bowl of the fountain. I do not have the three suction cups referenced in the instructions. I'm trying to figure out the assembly. So far, I'm not very pleased with this purchase.Updated to say after a few days, it's working well. The auction cups weren't necessary. I added blue rocks to the top two tiers. The only issue I have is finding a direction to point the solar panel so that it will run all day.

The media could not be loaded. I love this fountain! Set-up was quick and easy, and it has provided the enjoyment I was hoping for. I love the sound, but best of all it's serving its main purpose of a bird bath and extra source of water for them. But it is also quite lovely, and many have complimented this backyard feature.

I like this fountain. You can really hear the water! I have it outside & as soon as the sun hits the panel it's like a call for all the birds, bees, & squirrels in the area. I gave it a four star due to the battery back up. It dosent last to long. The solar panel is very sensitive if its in the shade, if it's slightly cloudy or overcast it wont turn on & you need to use the battery mode & only stays on 1-2 hours. The actual fountain is light weight, fiberglass, the wind has not flipped it over & so far it seems to tolerate direct sun, no major fading but it's still new. The lights work great but there is no option to turn lights on or off when using battery mode.Well less than a year later and the fountain won't work! I'm bummed out about this. Hopefully I will get a replacement since its warrentied for a year. I'm waiting to hear back from the company. Still haven't received a replacement or any help with the solar panel replacement

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love my fountain. I love the look and and the sounds. I added small river rock's to the bowls which in my opinion made it look better. I also added small flat glass stones to the top base, when the light's are on the reflection is brighter and really sparkles. I only had 12 pieces of the glass laying around, I need to get more to cover the entire top.The only downside is the cords hanging over the bowl.I will probably end up buying an electric pump. The area it sits in only gets about 5 to 6 hours of Sun and that is with moving the solar panel around. I want to be able to enjoy it anytime of the day or night.

I loved the pics of this fountain when I found it online. BUT craftsmanship quality is poor and product is way overpriced. Main water reserve bowl leaks and connecting plug for nighttime lighting was missing from the shipment (so night lights are useless). I have another solar fountain built by another company -- way more sturdy, w/the solar built into the fountain itself and with a built-in backup battery (not for just the lights!) that enables the fountain to run for 6+ hours after the sun sets (which is what I thought the 'backup batteries" were for in this one - my misunderstanding). My other one cost me close to the same price as this one -- I was looking for a different design for my second fountain, so found this one and liked the design - I thought. But cheap, leaking, no nightlights so sending it back. Very disappointed overall.

I bought this fountain in the spring of 2016. It worked well the first summer and most of the summer of 2017. ButThe buttons on the back of the solar panel stopped working - they don't toggle on or off so I don't have a fountain or lights on the top tier. I have replaced the batteries. Now I am trying to get a replacement solar panel. This is proving to be an extremely frustrating process. I have searched several carriers of this fountain on line but no luck. I would suggest the when buying a fountain, make sure the manufacturer has readily available replacement parts.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The fountain looks like real stone. It had a small chip on the base that I easily covered with paint. The solar function for the fountain works very well.I have only seen the lights work once but I have a feeling I am doing something wrong. And haven't seen the fountain work on battery power during cloudy weather. I have been in contact with the seller since I got the fountain to get more information about how to use it since the "user's manual" is very, very unclear. The seller has promptly replied to my questions.The once major disappointment is the fact that the wires that connect the fountain to the solar panel have to be draped over the back of the bottom bowl. I covered the wires on the ground with mulch but this fact wasn't mentioned in the description of the product.

I love this fountain. I sit on the porch and enjoy the sound. The birds and even the squirrels enjoy it. Unfortunately we had a sever freeze in Texas and I did not consider protecting it. It was damaged. If I cannot fix it I will. probably buy another. Super product. The pump lasted over 5 years and it was an easy replacement.
