These have been my go-to flossers since my kids have had teeth that touch (which is when you should start flossing them). My husband and I are root canal specialists, so my kids know that flossing twice a day is not negotiable. They can do it themselves in the morning. At night, mom and dad do it. When using these, don’t simply push down between the teeth and then pull up, you should be scraping the floss part up against the side of each tooth that your cleaning a few times until you’ve gotten the gunk off of each one. The floss should slide easily below the gum about a millimeter or two to clean stuff collecting below the gum. Do this gently and move the floss up and down in the vertical direction, not forward and backward in the horizontal direction like you’d use a hacksaw. These flossers are strong, do the trick and my kids like the taste. The only thing I don’t like is the amount of plastic waste we generate using them, but I haven’t found a better alternative. One important thing to note is that while brushing and flossing is critical for good oral health, your kid’s diet is also very important. You can brush and floss twice a day, but if you’re feeding your kid juice, soda or carb loaded snacks multiple times a day, your child will get cavities. At mealtime, give them what you want, but between meals, stick to water and foods that don’t have a lot of simple carbohydrates in them to avoid tooth decay. And if your child does get cavities, do not shame them and tell them it’s because they don’t brush well enough and that going to the dentist to have cavities fixed is going to hurt and they’ll get a big shot. Most tooth decay is related to diet, and most 6 year-olds are not buying their own food. Parents share in the responsibility of good oral health for their kids. It’s not a place for blame or shame for either the child or the parent, just an opportunity to learn and do better.

These kids’ fun flossers are very well made, and I’m impressed with how securely the floss stays in the holder for the entire flossing process. Even though the bag says “wild fruit flavors,” there really isn’t any flavor to them, but that doesn’t take away from how well they work. It’s an excellent buy, especially getting three bags for the current price of $6.72. Great value and great quality.

My kids hate flossing there teeth but it has to be done. My oldest sons teeth have extreme crowding so the dentist mentioned if we do not floss nightly, he will get an excess of cavities! And as a parent we all know how expensive it cost to fill cavities! Its also good to use so you get your kids in the habit of having good hygiene. These flossers come in a pack of 3, with a 75 count per pack. It also comes flavored with a fruity taste which my kids do like. The floss itself is not too thin but also not so thick that it will make my kids gums bleed. My sons gums are very sensitive to touch- so i have to choose products carefully. There is a grip on the flosser so it is easier to maneuver around tiny mouths.

My 4 year old didn’t like flossing so we bought this & she now wants to floss by herself every night. And is happy for us to floss again for her afterwards. Whenever she feels that something is stuck in between her teeth, she grabs one of these herself & flosses away! With all the flossing, we’re on our 3rd bag already! :)

My kids use these nightly and have for years. They are easy for them to use and taste inoffensive. No cavities yet and they are 10 and 12.

A mis hijos les gustan bastante porque se adaptan al tamaño de su boca. Están lindos los colores, ojalá agregaran más variedad.

Me gustó que el material del hilo es muy delgado y eso facilita la limpieza entre las muelas.
