Awesome Product and very fair price for what I received!! Jumping right in: I was highly debating adding the carabiner, but it is VERY handy and you don't have to use it if you want to loop the rope thru the hole for hanging. I found it much easier to use my 3/8ths Screw Eye Hooks (rated 250lb, 114kg) into the ceiling of my garage which holds my 180 lb (81kg) weight including dynamic loading, jumping on it, swinging... it's VERY SOLID. The rope hasn't shed much if any. I'm using it for mostly arm over arm climbing but I worked fine when using my Feet. Out of the box, there is some smell but goes away after a day. The rope is quite stiff and you hear creaking sounds, but I've only gone 15-20 rounds with it so I think that will eventually stop. I expect some stretch but that's natural in my experience climbing ropes at gyms. This does seem to be professional GYM quality. Creaking and stretch doesn't seem to be hurting anything or indicate lessened lifespan. Width is great for my hands and my kids (5 and 7), you can tie knots in the rope to change the difficulty of the workout and they are able to be un-knotted as long as you don't really jump on them to secure them, like I did when testing. Then they take much more effort to untie. I wanted a rope to add to my ninja obstacles in my garage with 12+ feet ceilings and this is PERFECT. With the Carabiner attachment it would be very quick to clip off and then transport and use for all sorts of things (battle ropes if you had 2 of them is something I plan to try!). To buy 2 ropes for $40 each would still be cheaper than buying "battle ropes" here AND you have climbing ropes too so it's like having 2 products for the price of 1 and you aren't storing 4 large items when 2 will suffice. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this climbing rope. The feel of the natural fibers, the diameter, the twist of the braid, all seem to help the rope meld with my hands. Although it was purchased for personal use, the quality of this rope will ensure that it lasts for years, and in my opinion would even stand up to regular professional use in a gym. It looks, feels, and even smells (yep - smells) like authentic and genuine rope (it is). No mix of chemicals, no coverings, no fake textures or anything else on this one to interfere with the natural feel that the palms need to really grip and train. I made the BEST choice.

This rope is a good Christmas present, I say this from experience because it’s true. It’s stronger than expected and it can even stay strong on some of the small tree branches that are higher up. Thanks to the paper, it was easy to get the rope “stuck” on the tree and it’s very firm. For Christmas the entire family enjoyed climbing up on it. This rope has many uses thats fun for everyone and also good for exercise! When climbing up the rope I could tell it was stretching and I could hear it, so, I would expect the rope to get longer the more it’s used.

As a former rope climbing record holder at my military academy I know a thing or two about climbing ropes and what great full body exercise it provides. And I absolutely love this rope! First of all, this rope is made of a natural material that provides a great grip. It is a lot more slip resistant than a rope made of artificial materials which translates in a lot less forearm fatigue. It is also pliable enough to easily wrap your feet around it, which comes in handy when you want to give your forearms a break while resting halfway up a rope. Finally, I really appreciate the looped end. It makes it very easy to fasten the rope on a tree branch, a bridge railing, an arbor or a wall anchor. I never had any doubts about it safely holding my weight. Again, great rope! I highly recommend it!

I just bought this rope and hung it from my son's ninja rig. it seems very sturdy and my kids loved swinging and climbing on it. It does shed a little bit, but I think that's due to the material. We bought it as an outdoor rope, so this doesn't bother me. My kids are looking forward to continuing to use it.

Rope arrived within less than 3 days nicely packed with basic instructions on how to tie to a hook. It is a sturdy climbing rope and testing it with my kids I can confirm that the 1.5 inch diameter works well both for children and adults. It is much better suited for climbing than the standard thin nylon ropes you get for kids' playgrounds/swing sets (see picture comparing the much thinner nylon rope hanging to the left vs. this climbing rope hanging to the right). I bought a 30 foot rope with loop which made attaching it to a branch fairly easy once you figure out how. My ladder did not reach to the branch but you can find videos on YouTube how to use a separate throw line (yes, I did need several throws before I succeeded.....). Based on the quality I immediately ordered a second rope for a different tree, setting up a parcours in our yard. Kids love it.

I hung this on a tree branch - loved it, as did the kids. But 2 years and 19 days after I bought it, it broke mid-climb. Very glad the kid wasn't too far up the rope when it happened. Could have been a hospital trip, or worse, given the length of this rope. In the attached photo, I've cut off the black plastic cover/weather proofing, to try to understand what happened. I didn't touch the rope. I understand that natural materials decay over time, but for a product advertised as "outdoor", I would expect more than 2 years of service life.

Seems to be pretty sturdy. Looking forward to installing it on our swing set.

Is really good product, but i did not check properly and ordered the 10f ones which is too long for me, but not fault of product i just didn't check. I returned product and got a fast refund, good customer services so highly recommended. Will need one only 3metres watch this space. Xxxx

This is very good rope climbing

We had a similar climbing rope on the PE classes at school 20 years ago and I loved it and now happy to share the same feelings with our kids and train their grappling skills. The material of the rope is natural, so it's not slippery and no stretching under my weight (80 kg). We use it outdoor and not a problem to keep it under the rain as it gets dry very fast and ready to be used. That's very exciting to have such challenging sports equipment at home!

Definitivamente el producto coincide con la descripción. Es de fibras naturales que no se desprenden con el uso y está bien tejida. Yo pensaba que al subir se iban a desprender pedacitos y que iban a quedar en mi ropa y pelo, pero no. Compré la versión sin gancho porque la utilizo en un árbol. Como es de fibras naturales, no recomendaría que se quedara a la intemperie, ya que se pudriría con la lluvia, especialmente en la zona cubierta por plástico. Llegó bastante rápido, unos días antes de lo esperado. El olor que desprende de la cuerda es probablemente algún preservativo químico, por lo que es importante lavarse bien las manos después de usarla y no dejar que las mascotas la muerdan. Después de hacer solo unos minutos de ejercicio, terminé con dolor en la espalda y el abdomen, así que definitivamente es un excelente ejercicio para esos músculos. Si no tienen manos acostumbradas a este tipo de ejercicio es recomendable usar guantes, al menos al principio, porque si salen ámpulas es imposible continuar por varios días en lo que se curan. En resumen, me pareció una excelente compra!

Cambie la altura del soporte. Tuve que regresarla. Es una cuerda de muy buena calidad.
