Being a senior citizen who is interested in all kinds of fitness and health books and massage type products, while browsing on line I came across this product (Melonsun trigger point pressure massager) which I thought was a bargain price. This is a combination plastic massager with a design that makes it easy to apply to various parts of the body to relieve muscle aches and pains.I found it is also great to use for trigger point and belly button type massage therapy. Since I have taken numerous courses in the past on foot and hand reflexology as well as other forms of massage methods I found this to be a very handy and easy to use device to massage the feet, legs, forearms, shoulders, chest, stomach, neck and legs. This didn't turn to be as useful, as I had hoped.

Love that it’s ergonomic, which makes it easier to hold. Wish the tip was slightly softer and not hard plastic which makes it a little slippery, less comfortable and a little harder to get the points properly.

I often get hard knots in my back from stress and exercising, that can be so bad they can limit my physical movements. The only thing that has helped me in the past is working out the knots with someones full weight, using their elbow, pressed into the area. My hope was that I would be able to use this tool on myself when someone isn't around to help. Unfortunately, that is not the case, I would still need someone to assist in using this tool on your back.I will say that the force required to get the same effect is far less than what was required before using digital or elbow manipulation.

it works to apply pressure points precisely or to run over sore muscles. i got it to work on my husbands shoulders and neck because my fingers/hands are not strong enough to apply pressure. works great with a grip that is very comfortable for me. i can really bare down as needed, now. recently, i have had a problem with my shoulder area and discovered that i can use this tool on myself too. i sit is a chair and lean into it, holding on to the long thin part that looks like a nose. AWESOME tool and a GREAT value. i returned two much more expense tools which were hard to hold or less versatile, as a reference for how it may fit you hand, i would say my hands are medium size/average sized for a woman.

This massage tool works well for alleviating trigger points. I always get knots in my neck, traps/shoulders, and inside my shoulder blade. I am able to use this tool for my neck and shoulders and my husband uses it on my shoulder blades without thumb fatigue. I'm not sure if the flat part is meant for this, but it works well on the top of my shoulders/traps to alleviate tension.

Very handy sometimes. A bit of relief but it won't change your life.
