Instapark Riflescope Mount for Magnum Airgun High Profile 1 inch One Piece with Dual Rings Lock Down Multi-Bolt 5 Screw Scope Mount with Stop Pin

I bought this to mount my BSA Essential 4x32 AO scope to my Crosman Phantom 1000 air rifle. I works perfect. If your unaware Spring Piston Air Rifles have a dual recoil- they kick forward and backward and often times traditional scope mounts slide back and forth on these rifles. NOT THIS! There is a retaining pin that fits in the hole in the Phantoms reciever and the 5 screw tightening system assures a postive level attachment. Unit is very well made but be sure that you fully seat the hex wrench in each screw as I can easily see the screw heads getting stripped out. This mount sits high and easily accomidated my 32mm objective. Of course the sight thru area is obstructed with this size scope (in hosenty probably nothing larger than a 25mm objective will allow this feature to be used). One other note is that this mount is LONG. I have a BSA Varmit laser/light combo mounted to the scope tube and it barely fits with this mount (I have about 1/4" of "wiggle"room). There are a ton of different mounting configurations out there so do some research and pick the right one for your application- for my application (11mm Dovetail, 25mm scope tube, 32mm objective, spring air rifle) this is perfect. I have taken 100 shots so far and there is NO loosening as of yet (and I did not use blue thread lock- but will if it is needed) UPDATE 7/7/12: The airgun horizontal stop screw sheared off my mount. This allowed the mount to shift backwards and messed up scope zero. I contacted the company as I really liked the mount and wanted to know the size of the setscrew. They informed me that they would send a new one free of charge. Hey sounded great to me. While I was waiting for the new setscrew I took off the mount and discovered that the hole in my rifle was a bit small for the screw so I drilled and tapped a new hole. Imagine my amazement when my replacement set screw arrived with a WHOLE NEW MOUNT!!!!Yup they sent me an entire replacement mount! I remounted the scope and the new tapped hole in the rifle combined with the new setscrew is working perfectly. The mount has not moved (I did locktite everything this time) in over 250 shots. 5*'s and 2 thumbs up for Instapark and their OUTSTANDING customer service! 5 year update. Still holding strong. No issues what so ever. Scope and mount have not moved even a millimeter. I shot 2500 round thru the rifle easily and no trouble.

As some reviews stated, the mount sits a few degrees off of level, but this was easily corrected by rotating the scope crosshairs back to vertical. Deeper grooves on my rifle would have avoided that. The 5 screw grip on this scope ring system is awesome! Includes lock washers for the base screws! 4 screws per ring is very strong. The fabric tape lining the interior of the rings protects and grips the scope. Shot @100 .22 pellets with a spring powered rifle with zero movement and no loosening of any fasteners. Hint: Don't over-tighten the screws to avoid stripping the threads on the rings or mounts. You can always snug them back up. If they loosen again, use Blue Loctite. Very impressed for the price! Now, with firmly mounted optics, I have discovered my rifle's favorite pellet. It's amazing how different brands/types of pellets can impact in such different directions. I have leaned you must have a good scope mount and a quality red dot or scope to enjoy the power of modern air rifles. Otherwise, it's just frustrating.

Good mount. I had problems with my pellet gun recoil unseating my scope mounts. So I bought this one based off of the reviews. It works so far. It's made of aluminum and seems strong enough. L I didn't like that the screws that hold tension on the clamp bar are small. Only about 3/8 inch long. I would've preferred to see them go all the way through the mount. The mount itself has a hole all the way through for each screw. So due to the short screws, you have five empty holes on the other side of the mount. I gave it four stars instead of five due to this issue.

This mount bolted up solid as a rock to my Winchester 1400cs .177cal Magnum. It mounts my Hammers 4-12x40AO scope low to the barrel centerline, making for better accuracy when sighted in. I prefer these multi-bolt mounts to rings, as there increased clamping surface spreads the bolt torque over a greater area, increasing holding force of the mount. This is very necessary with modern break barrel air rifles, which have a unique " back-n-forth" recoil, not unlike a boxer's jab punch. The Winchester's recoil is quite violent, even after it breaks in. So A good, shockproof scope id needed, obviously, BUT you need to get this 5-bolt mount as well! It clamps down solid on my 1400cs so far with no scope walk. The included pic shows it mounted the Hammers 4-12x40AO to my Winchester 1400cs .177 magnum.

It's always hard to find a scope mount for CZ 452 trainer. After trying two other mounts with unsatisfying results, I ordered this one based on the review. Last week I finally got time to test it out on range. IT WORKS! I fired about 200 rounds and it held the zero without problem. I wasn't expecting much given its low price, but I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. It does have a small problem for CZ 452. Because it's a one piece mount and partially covers the eject route of the shell, sometimes the shell was blocked by the mount and I couldn't put a new round into the chamber, and I had to stop for a few seconds to clear the jam. Not sure pulling the bolt faster would help... With that said, blocking the shell is not the fault of the mount and it's not bothering me much. I'd highly recommend this scope to CZ 452 owners.

It is solid and light and grips well on a dovetailed receiver. Scope locks down just fine. I had hoped that it being raised with a see through that I would be able to use my iron sights in addition to the scope. No luck though because my scope blocks the view. The only scope that would work would be a scope of the straight tube variety. Unfortunately not many scopes are built like that and are flared wide at both ends thus blocking your view. Too bad

I'll keep this short. This looks like it should stop all slipping issues and it may depending on the recoil of the gun you are putting it on. I put it on a magnum air springer and it slid back like no one's business. I tightened the screws to the max even stripping one and still the same issue. Because my gun is a very powerful but cheap piece of equipment I ended up glueing this itme on to the rails and then fastening it with the screws. Now it doesn't move.... Still- I can't recommend it. It looks solid but isn't and the screws strip easily. Save your money.
