When I shoot at a range I use electronic ear protector "muffs".Beginning this year I began shooting with a North-South Skirmish Association team and we have to wear traditional uniform hats while on the line.I quickly found that muff-type protectors didn't work, so I looked for alternatives.I chose the Decibullz because you could fit them yourself and they were reasonably priced.After spending a day with 75-100 other shooters firing at the same time I found these to work exceptionally well. Later, on a modern range, I tried them in comparison to my electronic muffs.I was surprised to find them actually better at reducing sound - but poorer at allowing me to hear conversations.I purchased the earbuds with the neck cord. I would recommend that if you want to be able to hear someone speaking with you. There is a plug in the earbud that can be removed (and then easily put back in place). It seems like a lot less likely to drop or lose that plug if it's tied onto a cord around your neck - just sayin'

These mold to your ears easily. I have not gone shooting with them yet, but just basic sound check makes me believe these will work as expected.

Absolutely love the hearing protection that's moldable easy to use easy to mold. The accessories of a lanyard sound great but once you have them in every touch to that lanyard it's heard through the hearing protection which is kind of annoying and actually hard to hear anything at that point that's all you hear is a slight scratch or whatever it's touching at the time it's definitely brought through the hearing protection itself. Definitely recommend the hearing protection great value for its money sturdy durable the whole nine easy to clean easy to use easy to mold would not suggest the lanyard myself the carrying case is great you can put them right back in your case and that way you don't lose them I've lost many pairs I've also have had many pairs and I can't steer away from these whatsoever

Nice case, but I bought it because of the picture showing a loop and hook to clip it to things. No hook, no loop to even attach one. All I can do is stuff it in a pocket, which is not how I wanted to carry it.

I like the comfort of the Decibullz and could wear them for extended time period if needed. So far, I have only mowed with them, and they never fell out and did add protection. Looking forward to using in other situations.When molding them I expected them to look as nice as on the video however, the shape of my ear or I pressed to hard in the process and they look misshapen. The molding process was easy, just watch the video and follow instructions. This has not interfered in the products ability to protect my ears. I would purchase again and recommend them.
