This cable is overkill for most indoor situations. However, it is great for improving reliability when your cable runs near electric power lines or when your device can benefit from using a grounded cable. For example, I had an IP camera running on PoE but even the slightest static shock to the casing would cause it to reboot. When I switched to using this grounded cable, the camera became immune to static shock. Not all devices require this, but for those that do, this cable is great.

The cable is working well so far, and visually appears to be of good quality. It did need to be uncoiled as it did have some memory in its shape when it arrived, but has unwound fine as of now. Definitely thicker and stronger than all the cat5 cables I have.

It was white. I measured it and it was 25 feet long. It had Ethernet plugs on each end. The plugs fit the outlets that I plugged them into. Data flowed through the cable. All is right with the world.

It's getting very difficult to find these CAT6 STP cables, especially at reasonable prices from brick & mortar stores. I'm glad Amazon has them and this particular product is great. It does what it's supposed to do and seems quite durable. We have tons of electronic devices and using these cable insures isolation from EMI and RFI.

Well, this is probably better shielded and constructed than 90% of users need. If you can find a Cat 5 or 5e cable cheaper, go for it--it won't give you any problems if you're streaming video or whatever else. But I don't want to have to upgrade my work in a few years.

Appears to have really good build quality. Ethernet passing through one to a 1Gig switch and another sending the network back out from that switch provide end-to-end 1Gig Ethernet speeds. My wife likes that the white color matching the floorboards make it less obtrusive.

Cable arrived on time and works as expected. Excellent Quality. This sure helps in balancing demands of multiple devices fighting for wireless signal, and significantly reduces lag on xbox one versus wireless.
