10.6inch Rock Indoor Water Fountain Zen Meditation Tabletop Fountain with LED Light for Home Office Bedroom

From the moment I turned this little fountain on, I knew it was a keeper!Yes, it is relatively small in height, the online measurements say 8.3" tall, but that is to the top of the spinning glass orb. The top of the rock feature is 7 3/4 inches tall, so fyi on that.The base could be made of nicer material, its a rigid plastic bowl (I don't think it's resin like the rock) but it's solid and works to hold water safely with little flanges inside that the rock top sits on.I may look for a prettier base that I can covert to work.Once I put this fountain together (took less than 5 minutes) it actually looks really nice and the trickling water is soft and soothing with just the right amount of cascading sound. I added some rocks to the base to create visual interest.I listened to other reviewers saying to put the pump on high to allow the orb to spin. I think this is great advice.I started the pump first and let the water start trickling, then slowly put the orb on the top and it started spinning straight away (wasn't sure if it really would, since a few people said theirs didn't).My thinking was that it might need some volume of water under the orb to create a water cushion for it to spin. lol.You can give it an extra spin if you want it to go faster. The glowing LED light from under the fountain creates such a nice glow within the orb, and the little bubbles inside the glass create a vortex look as its spinning-really cool.If the room is dim/dark, the glow and spin on the orb is especially nice.I've put fountains together before, but this came with instructions to make assembly a breeze if you're unsure.Tip: use bottled or distilled water. Some tap water can have impurities or create calcium buildup.I had this on for several hours in the evening and unplugged it before bedtime.I do agree with some reviewers that an on/off switch would be more convenient, but at least if I unplug it, I know it's off and don't risk it running dry and burning up the pump.Please be aware you will have to add water once in a while as evaporation will happen over time.In the hours I had it going, I had absolutely no water splashes - whatsoever.Lastly, it would be cool if the fountain came with a couple different colored orbs, or have the LED color changing, that would be fun.I feel the price is a little spendy for what you get but I like it so much I'm already thinking of buying another one for my office desk. Great conversation starter and would fit about anywhere.Recommended this fun little fountain.

I've had this for 3 years- the pump is silent and its been trouble free using it every day. The resin is not the most attractive, however it is very durable and I have put all my own rocks and glass beads etc that I have collected so it makes it beautiful and personal and the molded resin rocks just serve as the backdrop for that. I am gifting this fountain to friends this year because I know from experience it a beautiful and reliable fountain that I have enjoyed for years. All you hear is the subtle trickling of water which is very soothing. I add water to it maybe once a week and if it runs low then the pump will start to gurgle signaling you it time to add some water.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted something for my 13 y.o. grandson's birthday. I looked for damage before his birthday and it looked OK. I missed the hole in the bottom of the fountain. The seller sent a new part after I sent them a photo. My grandson likes the light and sound in his bedroom. I picked it because of the esthetics.

I love this thing!!! It is so calming and relaxing. Even when you keep the water level at 90%, it does not overflow over the sides of the bowl. So pretty and works exactly as shown. I would highly recommend this. Only thing is the water sound is a little quiet, but other wise AMAZING!!

I’ve always looked at and admired table top fountains, but have never purchased one. Now that I’m 80, I decided to indulge myself. It was easy to assemble and I am happy with the gentle water sounds.

There is no on/off switch. It is very pretty and has nice sound, but it is a hassle to turn it on and off by plugging and unplugging it.

The media could not be loaded. I went digging for a desktop water feature and landed with this one. I’ve have it for nearly a year and take it with me to which ever job site I am on. The pump has be running strong and the waterfall provides a calming atmosphere. Easy to set up. I have this running all week and need to fill with water once a week. It’s like watering a plant. Highly recommend. Takes your office space to the next level.
