A must for any Power BI fan
I will admit I have met Phil and attended his talks in Australia during various Power BI conferences. I highly recommend that you follow Phil on social media, his posts along with this book always leaves me wanting to learn more about Power BI. By default I will buy any book or read any material from Phil.

Interesting but requires further editing
The book provides insights into DAX that differ from existing books. However, It was not straightforward to find the data files for the examples covered and there were some disconnects between the book and the companion material. Some concepts in the book are not always covered with concrete examples of implementation and are therefore difficult to bring into practice.

This book took my DAX ability to the next level
I’ve been writing / learning DAX for a while now. This book addresses different important foundational topics... row level security, query performance, with a heavy emphasis on DAX and real world business problems. This book stretches my ability to think creatively, use more functions, and write better DAX.
