I have another one just like this but different colors. It is certainly wind proof and mostly waterproof. You may have too much on if it isn't too cold outside which will make you sweat. I haven't had this one long so I can't speak of durability but for the price I would be happy with a couple years the pockets are huge and it has arm pockets as well. The hood is quite large so wearing hats or a scarf would be fine. The lining is soft so even if you are not wearing a shirt it would still be comfortable the arms also have a Velcro strap to tighten in extreme weather all n all its a great product. I would suggest buying a size or two larger so you can wear fleece or something under it for extra layers.

Great jacket for the price with more options than any other jacket I’ve owned including military. I took it on a test run yesterday, 40 miles on my bike in 32 degree weather, light flurries, sleet, rain mix, 15-20 miles and I was warm the entire ride, with only a light weight fleece underneath. The only issue I had is I sweat during the ride, so when I got home the back was a little damp, which is good because that’s what happens when you exercise, if you’re doing it right. Options are many: Two zippered pockets on left arm, one zippered pocket on right arm, one pocket on inside right breast one on left side breast pocket, two lined zippered exterior pockets, front zips up to the nose, two way front zipper from bottom to nose, hood with small visor, completely covers head and beyond, roomy enough for layers, bungee draw string at bottom of jacket, adjustable Velcro at wrists, etc... I’m sure I’m missing something. Oh I wear an XL and it fits good, as expected with or without layering. I’m 6’ 190, muscular build. I love this jacket and may buy a different color. For the price you can’t beat it!

I got my husband a camo color, n its beautiful, grrreat quality, very good looking, super nice fit, well insulated n still kinda light n comfortable, he loves that he can tighten or losen it at the wrists, its not long but not short at all at the bottom just right, great for wet AND cold weather, does it's job n then some. Very worth the price.

Upon receiving this “tactical” jacket, I immediately began feeling more combat ready. The mere sight of the Velcro on the jacket’s arms (where I would soon be able affix my morale patches) motivated me to drop down and knock out a few push-ups. This new Amazon order put me in the mood to do some serious PT, so I donned the new jacket and headed out the door. The jacket’s generous fit, tactical features, and rugged construction had me calling cadence at the top of my lungs. The jacket kept me warm, and my fat was crying. Once cadence had sufficiently reinforced the knowledge that my rifle is for shooting and my gun is for fun, I decided to see how this jacket would do in wet inclement conditions. I hit the Barracks’ showers on the double. I stood with just the jacket on, under the pouring water, for roughly 10 mikes. The jacket kept me bone dry, with the only thing getting wet being twelve gazing platoon mates. I concluded that the jacket was an ideal piece of tactical equipment and added it to my EDC kit. I will always keep this jacket on my person and ready for use; because the only easy day was yesterday.

I saw many reviews about this jacket being too small. This jacket has a thick waterproof shell with a thin fleece lining. If you intend to wear a hoody or bulky clothing under the jacket, you need to go a size larger. If you’re going to wear a lighter shirt then your regular size should fit perfect. I’m 6’3 and weight 230lbs. I purchased a XXL and wore a hoody underneath and it was perfect. I was impressed by the quality of this jacket for the price. It appears to be well constructed. I wore this jacket for a week while fishing in Montana. The fishing guides were wearing similar jackets that were $300-$400 but I saw no noticeable differences other than they were wearing big name brands. The zippers were easy and strong. The outer shell was thick and durable. My only complaint was the front pockets weren’t deep enough. If you’re looking for a decent jacket at a great price, this is a steal.

I ordered the jacket one size up in the event I wore a heavy sweater or hoodie. Fits as expected. The only issue is the double zipper. It functioned flawlessly at first, but now, even with the zippers aligned, it is 50/50 it will work. Most times it zip up wrong.

For $40 bucks this is a solid jacket. I'm 5'10" and around 205 lb, pretty stocky with broad shoulders and the 2XL fits almost perfect. Jacket stops right below the waist line so when you raise your arms up you don't have to worry about the jacket raising above your belt. I have other jackets from other brands and they all are typically Large to X-Large, just this particular brand runs super small. If you are above 5'10" or above, and over 200 lb go with the 2XL. If you fall below 5'10" and are 175 - 200 lb then I would say the XL will be good. Black Camo look excellent.

Very nice and does what it says. Bought this for my husband for work. He loves it. He does a manual job and leaves early in the mornings. So keeps him warm and dry. And it looks amazing on.
