Morpho: Hands and Feet: Anatomy for Artists (Morpho: Anatomy for Artists, 5) Review: Great reference book - I love this book. If you are looking for a great reference book that is small enough to carry with you everywhere, then this is it. This book is small enough to set on your desk for reference without taking too much space, but big enough to be able to read it's content with out compromising the quality it's content. The information is well put togethe. I highly recommend this book. Review: Trying my hand at drawing hands while also trying to get a good footing on things - These books provide great references. And Morpho's "Hands and Feet" is helping me as I try my hand at drawing hands while trying to get a good footing on things (no pun intended, perhaps?). But anyways, I really like the Morpho series. Great for intermediate level sketch artists or those looking to brush up on drawing after not having drawn for a while. Neat & compact. Can easily pack with you when travelling and the binding style is what I like about these too. You can conveniently lay them down as they remain propped open while sketching in your sketchbook. "Hands and Feet" is the second book of the Morpho series that I've bought. "Simplified Forms" being the first one. I recently just finished that one and have now just started on this one now. I still feel like I have a long road ahead before I feel like I've reached my goal/level. (I'd like to one day be able to draw hyper realistically and also to draw like Kim Jung Gi) But I feel like the journey never "ends" per se, as there's always room to learn things.

Great reference
These are reference books, not 'how to draw' books, though this one includes some how-to-draw tips. A wonderful reference; small and portable.

Small, yet handy.
Small, yet handy. Lots of nice illustrations of one the most difficult parts for artists.

Morpho Hands and Feet (book 5)
Small book, quick and easy reference on that subject so many find difficult to draw. The book explains why and offers an insight on combined structural and surface thinking. Many extreme views of hands and feet, showing what other books don't, with interesting explanations and a more comprehensive understanding.

Very good reference book for fine artists
Seems like it has every hand or foot position you would ever want to draw. Good for artists like me who don't always have a human model to copy from. Extremely insightful, just a heads up that it mostly shows simplified COMPLETE sketches of the hands and feet, and is not a step-by-step beginners book. It does not explain how to draw the hands and feet... that's up to the artist. But it DOES show correct proportions and I find it an invaluable resource.

Binding is done on Purpose and it's a great portable reference book
This is a great reference book! I got the hands and feet because I always need help with those. It's small enough that I can easily carry it in my bag with supplies. I know everyone keeps talking about the binding but I take it they have never had a book binding class before. The binding is left exposed on purpose. It shows the excellent craftsmanship of the bind. I don't mind it at all. The book has a lot of great references and I am using it all the time when I am looking for a specific foot or hand pose to go along with the body I have sketched.

I bought 3 of the Morpho books(Hands and feet, Fat and skin folds, and joint forms and muscular functions) and all of them are great references and study books. I draw comics and was able to make use of them immediately as references. Very easy to quickly open and find a useful reference on the fly. The books are small, they are 7inchs by 5inchs. I personally love the small size. I've seen people mention the binding, that the paperback cover is not attached to the pages so I just wanted to say it's supposed to be that way. I really like the style of these books. It would be amazing to get more topics such as clothing/fabric from the same author. I would be interested in anything they choose to put out as I like their style.
