I bought two LED bulbs to replace the halogen bulbs I had been using. The first bulb did not work but the second one is fine so far. They are much easier to fit than halogen bulbs as you don’t have to worry about touching the bulbs.

Upsides: Fitted perfectly, great value, much brighter than expected, I can't say how long they will last for only time will tell.Downsides: with regards to what I received the colour temperature was not consistent across the two bulbs in the pack, one being warm white and the other being much cooler which is a shame as I would have given a rating of 5 stars if this had not been the case.

I bought 4 of these bulbs to replace 4 halogen bulbs, 2 each in December 2021 and January 2022.Initially, I was delighted: the bulbs worked perfectly and the hallway in which they were installed looked great.Unfortunately, by August 2022, they have all failed. First they start flickering, then they dim to almost no light. I don't use them much - the hallway in question is not busy. I make that a few hundred hours of life at most, far from the advertised 35,000 hours.To forestall possible quesitons: I don't use a dimmer, and the light fitting does not have a ballast.Shame, I liked them very much for the first few months.

Not as bright as the halogen it replaced but lit up the side alley perfectly.

One lamp worked fine, the other flicks between low and full power after about one minute.Couldn't be ar**d returning dodgy one, ordered two more in the hope it was a one off.

I wanted R7s led lamp at a decent price. This hit an acceptable price with decent reviews and supplied me with a nice bright light which so far has been reliable.What more can you say.

I bought this product in Jan 2021 for use as a security light inside my garage. Bulb installed easily with usual precautions of not touching the glass. Light was of a good brightness and colour, and was very happy.6 months later, and probable time used under 20 hours, the bulb failed. Very unhappy as it should have lasted 30,000 hours. This bulb replaced my original halogen bulb which lasted over 10 years. I know what I will replace this bulb with. Don't be fooled by ridiculous claims of longevity.

I bought these for a portable 150w worklight. Previously, halogens where so fragile & hot that they didn't seem to last 5 mins.While not as bright as the 150w halogens, they still throw enough usuable light, consume very little power and no worries of very hot surfaces. Also, I can't comment on the life span of the lamp, but being LED and running cool, they should far out last a sackful of halogens.
