Very good battery charger, easy to use, charges real fast.

This item was received inside a box that was not damaged but the actual box the item was in looked like it had been kicked around a couple of times. I opened it anyway since the item working was the main concern and it did work just fine. Most importantly is this can run my wifi router in case of a power outage. We had this case back in late April and had no way to charge our phones, etc. and we were unable to access the home wifi. I was trying to get my mother checked in for her flight and the power being out just made a mess of our plans. My main reason for getting this unit was I already using greenworks products so I had the batteries already, so no extra expense on that front. It can't handle anything major like a saw or vacuum but rarely is anyone worried about vacuuming when the power is out! I would recommend this product if you are already using other greenworks cordless tools and have the 80 volt batteries.

This was a purchase to cover a power outage when the occasion arrives. My thought was to use it in conjunction with the 5 amp hour 80v battery. The results are it works. My airsense11 with the humidifier heater on. It lasted all night without issues. The last power level was on meaning it was near depletion. Question is will it run all night with two CPAP machines running? Well I doubt that but it very well may with the heater/humidifier turned off. That experiment will be another day. It works great and will come in handy for powering devices during an outage or camping remotely. It also has a two USB A ports for charging and or powering up devices that require less than 2.5 amps at 5volts. It’s lightweight and easy to operate, plug in your Greenworks 80v battery turn it on on the top, plug in your device that requires less than 300 watts and you’re good to go. I am happy with this purchase.

Just received it fully charged one battery

I have a lot of a green works products and I enjoy all of them. They were great efficient and battery. Life is long. The. Green Work charger is very durable. Value and. Of the battery is excellent. It was a very good.

Having bought into GreenWorks 80V lawn equipment through a different retailer, having a few 4AH and a handful of 2AH batteries, this seemed like a great extension to the set of equipment. I'm glad I bought 1, but I am going to hold off on buying another until they come out with an updated unit. USB-A 5A Chargers are super dated in 2024 and whereas this would totally charge my phone overnight, a 3-hour charge time is nothing to write home about for a modern phone where quicker charges are important. The unit is super quiet and I used the 120V to charge up other devices and a laptop. part charge on 1 phone, full charge on 1 kindle fire, 1 full charge on an old HP laptop and the 4AH battery went from 3 bars to 1 bar. Again, good to have if you are well vested in GW 80V, but don't overinvest here.

It does not work. I bought a plug adaptor (2pin flat to UK 3 pin). Whether it is the unit or the adaptor I have no way of checking but I can not get the unit to receive power. I have already asked for assistance but no-one has responded. Update. To be doubly sure this was not an adaptor problem I bought a second top spec 13 amp adaptor. Item still doesn't work. I even changed the fuse - "just in case" - still no power to unit. A marathon waste of time and additional cost. They now expect me to take it to UPS. Well, UPS can come and collect it. After this nonsense I do not need 50 mile round trip to return faulty goods. Both exasperated and disappointed with, firstly, faulty goods and, secondly, with the total lack of interest from both Amazon and the seller. It is now packed up ready for collection and I trust someone will take the trouble to arrange for UPS to collect at Greenworks expense. 100% inefficient service UPDATE. Eventually got through to a human at Amazon who, despite being tricky to understand has helpfully arranged for a courier to collect. The courier arrived as scheduled and the item is now in return transit. Something positive but could it not have been made a lot easier at an earlier juncture?

Excelente material

Fast 4 amp charger that will also charge the 5 amp batteries too. Greenworks confirmed it would. With a high speed cooling I can detect no heat from the charger and battery. Lots of venting to keep the airflow at max I now have 3 identical chargers to keep several batteries charged. Warehouse deal like new in retail box and never used because of the way it was sealed in plastic. Greenworks accepted the warranty registration and sales receipt so 4yr warranty

The item has come with the wrong plug so can’t be used. This is not acceptable.
