I love buy these due to the fact that they last long time which is great and the fragrance is somewhat strong after every flush.

PROS +++ - Last way longer than the advertised 4 weeks: I've found that for me they last about 8 weeks a bar; that said, I live with just one other person and we each have our own bathroom so maybe it disintegrates faster in a high-traffic household. - Very effective: I've found that these clean WAY better than any of the other automatic toilet cleaners do. I've mainly experimented with cling gels and found them lacking so I was really pleased/impressed by the effectiveness of these. I do a traditional toilet cleaning (with a brush and liquid toilet bowl cleaner) about once every two weeks but honestly my toilet still looks great a week and a half after manual cleaning, I don't even think a touch up cleaning is really required, it's just something that I like to do along with my regular bathroom cleaning. - Cheap: Hard to beat $4 a pack which, again, to me equals about 16 weeks of use! Even if they were only good for 4 weeks a bar I still think it'd be worth it. NEUTRALS /// - No Scent: I put this as a neutral mainly because I generally don't like cleaning surprise with artificial "lemon surprise" scents, they can really give me a headache (especially in small spaces like a bathroom), that said I know some people prefer scents with their cleaning supplies, and to be honest the lack of scent really does nothing to cover up the stinkiness that can come with a bowel movement. In short whether this is overall a pro or a con depends on what you like. - Shifts around: It does shift around the bowl some even with just a regular flush, that said I've never had one fall off or anything so I don't really see it as an issue despite some of the other reviews. CONS - - - - Not at all subtle: This isn't really a negative to me since, again, for the most part I'm the only one using my bathroom, but I can see why it'd be a negative for a lot of people. There's no disguising it, it's a big, somewhat awkward lump and you'll see it every time you step into the bathroom. Overall I truly do love these bars and will be a repeat buyer for sure. To me the neutrals and negatives are not really a big deal but I listed them anyway because I know that for some people (including other reviewers) one or more of these things can be a problem. For me personally, however, it's easily a 5/5 star product.

I've used these a bunch of times and I like them ... however ... my like for them certainly comes down to placement. Let me explain! These are designed to be hung on the side of your bowl so that when you flush it cleans and gives you a blast of scent. I find that if you hang it in that position is does almost nothing. The scent is VERY faint and that is with it being in the strongest water stream in the bowl as it flushes. It also has a nasty habit of "melting" after a few days and leaving a streak as the water flows past it. NO STAIN and it EASILY is wiped off! To rectify my problems I place it IN the tank. When I flush I see a few soap suds and the scent is where I would like it to be ... the problem is that these little things SEEM to be a glorified bar of soap and when you leave them to sit in water they just melt away in a few days ... but for those few days it really works well. I like them and I use them sparingly but I always put them in the tank. They are relatively inexpensive as of this review and there are two in a package so you could try the manufacturer's recommendation and then mine just to see the difference ... These smell good I'd last a while. You can't put it directly under the water feed in the bowl or they will disintegrate quickly. However, I don't really feel like they do much. I don't find that it keeps the bowl cleaner than it was before I started using them. But for the smell and the price it might be worth that. I wouldn't recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These toilet bowl cleaners seem to be working well, and lasting a long time. The only drawback was when I first installed them the smell was very strong!

Works great! I did my regular weekly cleaning of my toilets and installed these Lysol cleaning tablets. It has need two weeks now and they have done a great job keeping the bowel clean. So far, I have not had to scrub the dreaded hard water ring in the bowl. I'm sure I will need to do do that at some point, but I am able to cut back on the regular maintenance. The scent is nice. Not too strong. The only thing I could say that is not positive is I get a slight blue streak just below the tablets. Not a problem, as it just shows that rinse water is hitting the tablets just fine. There is no staining, the blue dribble just washes away with a splash of clear water. I am very impressed with the product and will buy again.

I have tried so many things to keep my toilet bowl clean with the least effort. I really was skeptical of this one as well. BUT I am really so happy, happy. Who likes cleaning the toilet? This just does it as it sits there. You can't really see it unless you look for it. Wonderfull product

Knowing that it's keeping the toilet clean is one less problem off my mind

Some people may have a sensitive nose. Scent is not too overpowering to me. Yes the initial scent when opened is strong but quickly fades. Use in all my washrooms including ensuite. Keeps toilet bowl clean. Leaves a blue streak/line running down the toilet bowel if that bothers you. Doesn’t seem to stain the bowel will clean off. Lasts approximately 1 month with an estimation of 2-3 flushes per day. Would definitely be purchasing again.

It has a pleasant scent. But be very careful when positioning the plastic clips, it breaks easily. I ended up losing one because the plastic broke during application.
