These door handles are of good quality.However the lock cylinders install upside down compared to the factory ones but it's not a big deal.Overall these handles are an absolute nightmare to change but I got them done,just figure in a lot of curse words and/or beer to calm the temper,no fault of the manufacturing just that this is a difficult job.

The outside door handles were very good fit, but it is aggravating when you get the door handle all together and almost done and then come to find out the clips on handle rod release were on backwards. Both RH and LH were both backwards, clips were broke before removing handles so when we replaced them we inserted the right direction. Only problem was the clips were backwards, they work great but sure was aggravating until we figured it out !!!

As others have said, the clip for the handle actuator push rod is installed in reverse. I believe this is so the spring end can hold it in place during shipping. Once I figured that out, I was able to install the push rod in the right direction an the handle worked perfectly. Yes, they are aluminum, not plastic. Would be 5 stars if the literature included the clip orientation fact.

Casting of the handles feels good, doesn’t feel like they will break easy. I’ll buy a couple sets of these for back ups if I ever damage these of get another truck.

Easy to install. Gave doors a fresh look after 30 years.

Pain in the butt to install but perfect fit and worked great.

This door handle caused me all kinds of issues. When trying to install every dimension was off making it not installable without adjusting something with a hammer. The worst part was the spring catch for the key lock would not catch so I tapped it with a hammer to get it to seat in place. Then I tried installing the handle and the bolts would not line up. The handle sat out from the hole in the door making it not flush with the door. Which if you decided to live with that it would look gaudy. After fighting the install and deciding I would live with the pour fitment I tried the key in the lock but could not get my key in the lock let alone function. After disassembly I measured the depth of the key hole from the old handle to the new handle it was 1/32 shallow which caused the key catch to not catch and also caused me to wreak my lock. Now I have to find a handle from somewhere else and try my luck with a handle from a different source. I then have to rekey every lock on the 95 Tahoe so that I don't have 2 keys one for just the driver door and one for everything else. The cost of these handles quantity 4 because I wanted extras in case it happened again and now the cost of a complete rekey job as well as the labor involved plus new handles from some where else is going to cost a small fortune, I sometimes wonder why I try to fix something from half broken but still working to end up with some pour quality product such as these handle that end up causing me a lot more money and labor to rectify.
