Q: What or where is the rubber on these socks?

There isn't any. The socks are thin and they run small in size. They shrank after being washed. I ended up ordering the puma socks, which were much better material.

I wear shoe size 8 and 5-9 fit good. Not thick nice thickness for under sneakers. I like them!

Follow the directions about returns. You need a special print out that specifies where you are going to return the item. I have returned things to Kohl's department store. They have a special section just for Amazon purchases.

Q: how high up on the foot is the sock? Does it fully cover the heel?

It’s a plain no show socks. So it covers your heel completely. If you’re wearing flats you could still se them. If you wear a pair of high top shoes then no one would be able to see them. But they DO cover your entire foot
