This brand New Artisan mate gourd is hand made, it is made from a Calabash Gourd and has a regional carvings, it comes with a traditional Organic Bamboo bombilla (Filtered Straw). This handmade mate gourd is approximately 3.125 inches tall by 3.125 inches in diameter, the opening is 1.5 inches in diameter and holds 5-6 ounces of liquid. The inside has been cleaned, the membrane has been removed. It is ready to be used. It will not need traditional curing. Its is Natural color with burnt accents and has a unique hand carving from an original drawing. This original Bamboo bombilla (sipping straw) is the traditional sipping straw used by the Guarani. The bombilla is approximately 5/16 inches (.312) in diameter and it measures 7.00 inches long. It is natural in color and 1.50 inches of the tip have been flame burnt and carved with traditional carvings. The perforations were burnt into the bamboo as it is done traditionally.
