It works as long as your dog isn’t overly stubborn
This works great for dogs who do not need stronger corrections. Start with this before using a shock collar as you don’t want to over correct. Only complaints: the remote lacks a cord (just tie one on yourself) and the clip easily detaches from your waistband. So I lost my first remote quite quickly. Second complaint: you have to buy another set, no single remote. Fine, I now have two collars, so I have a backup. But this second remote sometimes doesn’t seem to work. Not sure why, no problems with the first one at all!My dog is quite smart and it took literally one tone for her to know that she should come to me. But her friend who is quite stubborn also tried the collar with lesser results. He’s not the brightest dog to be honest, and would probably be better with a shock collar as he is also very stubborn.I use this collar for recall, because my dog likes to be off lead and I’m happy to have her do that, but if a pheasant or deer goes by she may be off and I won’t be able to call her. This works great for her and she’s a perfect lady whilst wearing it. I definitely recommend this and have had two friends buy them and use them effectively.

Made life easier!
For me this product works. I have a 21 month old recently neutered Labrador male. He’s coming along reasonably well but became totally engrossed in interesting smells and whatever else he could find in the grass and woods. Sometimes he would come to being called and sometimes not! I needed something to just get his attention back to me and obey ‘no’ or ‘come’. This product does just that. I have it so the points are near his ear and a short push on the remote on max setting gets his a head up and looking at me. Then on the command ‘come’ he bounds to me and gets a reward. He also had an annoying but true to trait Labrador habit of diving into a disgusting pond in the woods and coming out looking and smelling like a compost heap. First time with the collar when he was overcome with the prospect of the pond I gave a short burst on the remote and said ‘no’. It worked! I’ve only had the collar a short time but I’m having to use it less and less. Dogs need to know who the boss is and this product has helped a lot with that in my case (this is my 5th Labrador pup over the years and probably my last) and made life easier for the both of us. Highly recommended!

Good but doesn't collar doesn't always react on button press.
Great range and really does work to snap my dog out of his bad habits so that I can follow with positive reinforcement. The remote turns itself off after a couple of mins so have to press a button to get it to turn on again. That is okay but sometimes I have issues with the remote not doing anything for the first few button presses after it's woken up.Overall I would recommend for the price

PATHETIC
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.I placed the vibrating module firmly against the skull of my sleeping Labrador. Set at Level 99, I expected at the very least she'd stir. But no such reaction. Open a packet of crisps and she's instantly alert, but this pathetically weak vibration device couldn't wake this sleeping dog.Sensing victory was waning, I rallied with a long hard press of the Beep function.Nothing. Not even a twitch. But that's not surprising as I hardly heard it myself.Maybe she's a heavy sleeper? Take a bite from a biscuit two rooms away and marvel at the speed a Labrador can move, from deep slumber to wide-eyed excitement. But this device is useless. Weak. Ineffective. The stuff chocolate teapots are made of.

Good for some dogs but not all.
I bought this because another owner that I know had had good results from using it with his dog. Unfortunately, with a reactive dog such as mine, it was less effective. I've no doubt that it is a useful training aid but probably more so with young dogs. It's not difficult to use, although I sometimes found myself fumbling with the remote control, especially when my dog was on the lead. It's not hard to set up for use but the instructions that come with it certainly need improving, because the standard of English is very poor. The quality of the plastic collar with which the receiver is attached to the dog's neck is also poor.

Brilliant and it works
Used this on recommendation of a dog trainer and it’s fab!!!! Works perfectly for recall unless the dog is already in prey drive (for that you’d need a shock collar I suspect). We use the vibration mode when she decides something is more interesting than us. The beeping mode is more for when she’s looking at things or distracted by things like too much interest in sheep, about to jump on people etc. It’s been completely submerged in water a couple of times and so far (it was two weeks back) it still works perfectly.Battery life in the remote seems to last forever but on the vibrating unit it’ll need charged more often. Depends how much you use it obviously but does us for occasional use for about 10 hours I’d guess. Probably more. The remote has a small led torch and there’s one on the collar too. Not used it yet but this king it’ll be good for offlead night time walks or if you end up out later than planned. Although a full led collar would show up far better. If I’m doubt, give it a go. It’s not expensive and we’ve had amazing results. Without exaggeration it’s been a life changer and makes dog walking much more of a pleasure knowing she’ll always come back to us now

Not practical
Receiver on the collar only stays on for 5minutes so if you are out on a walk you need to use it at least once over 5minutes to keep it on.Display on the remote stays on for 5 seconds and then you need to press a button to switch the light back on. So in reality 2 buttons to use it or 3 if you wanted to change the level. When you are trying to change the dogs behaviour around other dogs this is not practical and too ‘fiddly’ in the real world. If you can work with this and and use it every 5minutes the remote is well laid out and the 3 buttons for different level and sound are useful.
