Studio Ghibli - My Neighbor Totoro - Totoro and Friends, Benelic Porcelain Japanese Teacup

I bought this as a gift for a family to say thank you. They’re from Japan and I thought they would appreciate this. They loved it so much and said it’s often used in their home. It’s very durable and the size is perfect.

Love it! I like the size, it's smaller than the other Totoro mug from this company. I like to use it for matcha tea. It does get very hot! My hands are sensitive so I hold it in a towel at first and then by the top once I've drunk it down a bit. It feels high quality and it's just adorable!

Perfect for a gift. I gifted this to my partner and they loved it. The only qualm is it’s not super thick so you can’t fill it all the way to the top if you want to be able to drink hot liquids since it doesn’t have a handle. If you’re drinking green tea or herbal it should be fine as those are at a lower temperature. Best of all it’s dishwasher safe but we continue to hand wash often to keep the quality nice. It’s authentic and very happy with the quality!

I bought this as a gift to go with a similar Miyazaki-themed mug bought overseas. This is an authentic product of Japan and matched the other mug perfectly. It does not have a handle so depending on the temperature of the drink it can get uncomfortably warm to hold. But it is reasonably thick and goes in the dishwasher just fine. For a Totoro or Studio Ghibli fan this makes a great gift. It was well packaged and arrived in good time.

This teacup is beautiful and perfect. Is it expensive, especially for the size? Yes, but if you have the money, it's worth it. It was one of my husband's present's for my birthday, and I LOVE it. It's sturdy and looks extremely well made. And it's just lovely. 100% recommended.
