UCOSurvival Fire Striker with Tether and Multitool

Way smaller than I thought. Was hoping for a 5/16 or 8mm which is what fits most ferro rod holders on knife sheaths. Works well & the striker is excellent. 4 stars but would have given 3.5

This is easily my favorite ferrocerium rod/striker combo. I’ve used MANY others. It’s easy to produce reliable, abundant, effective sparks to light tinder. I’ll be buying more of these to give as gifts.

You can strike it a million times weak spark. Maybe if you poured gasoling (just kidding don't do that) on some tinder it might work.

Try as I might I could not get this to produce a single spark! I even tried using my folding knife against the rod. No luck. It’s too much trouble to return it. Try purchasing something else.

Nice fire steel! I like this combo striker with built in tools for additional usability. Got good sparks once I scraped the dark coating off with the first few strikes.

Nice little striker, had no problems hitting fat rope stick 1 time to light it up. Fairly small, so you'll need fine motor skills to use.

It broke after just a few strikes.

付属のストライカーでは、残念ながら大きな花火は期待できません。初心者の私自身の腕の無さなのかもしれません。ただ、ナイフの背を利用すると、力が入りやすいので大きな火花が簡単に出来ます。メタルマッチを購入する方は、焚火を目的にされるのではないかと想像します。だとしたら、ブッシュクラフト向けのナイフを所持されてる方は、ナイフの利用するのも手だと思います。所有している「Moraknaiv Eldris Neck Knife」の小さなナイフでも、握る部分が太く安心して素早く擦ることが出来るので、大きな火花を飛ばし火口に簡単に火が移ります。

ストライカーを削って火花が出やすくしました。

ちゃんと火花でたのでとりあえず。あとは実戦でつかえるかどうかですね。
