18" Steering Wheel Cover Black Leather Cover For Semi Trucks

It is as seems but I had to cut 4 1/2 inches off to fit my old large buick steering wheel correctly. This was more simple to me than returning the item for a smaller size. I bought the 15 inch at an auto store and that was way too small so I thought this would be perfect. I just wrapped a few thin strips of duct tape around the ends that met and another on top to keep it neet looking. I am a woman and the idea of heating in the sun and pulling tightly around the wheel does not work for me with smaller ones. No arm strength I guess. So ladies, keep you life simple. Cut it to fit with a kitchen knife.

This cover is great. I drive a company owned 02 Freightliner Columbia, and the steering wheel was worn down to the steel inner ring. I just shored up the worn down area with cloth and electrical tape, then put this cover over it, and now It works great! The steel ring was killing my hand after having to deal with it 10-12 hours a day. But now, gripping the steering is actually an enjoyable experience. I was a little unsure of long it would last due to heavy use I have to put the truck through. But after using for around 2 or 3 months now, I see this thing will last a long time. At least 2 years, probably longer. Well worth the money.

Installed this on a steering wheel of a 1979 VW bus. Gives the wheel a comfortable feel. I like it.

The vehicle is a 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser, and I needed to shop specifically for an 18 inch diameter. Im an advocate of "you get what you pay for" so I bought the best I could find. I'm pleased. I took the project one step farther though: once the cover was on the steering wheel, I spiral wrapped it with lacing. This steering wheel cover is a perfect application on my rig. Thank You.

I have a 17" steering wheel, and I used another cover under this one, and sewed them both in place. It worked perfectly. Needle and thread are not included, but that was not part of the original design any way. The cover has a ribbed construction, which I liked for the extra grip. Some have complained about that, but it was no problem for me. The product is made by bonding nice soft leather to a rubber inner layer. Well-made, although a bit soft for sewing.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to install just let the heat warm it up and goes on fast really like the groves and how comy it is while driving would buy it again

This product is intended for large commercial vehicles. My application is a 1955 pick-up. There nothing I found that is half way decent and specific for vintage vehicles with 18" steering wheels. The fit is 7 on a scale of 10 but quality is a 10.
