Works great! I have been coloring my hair for over 20 years and this coloring works just as good as when I have it done in the salon. It is a neutral blonde and does not add any brassy tones or purple tones. I mix it with a 30 volume to achieve a bright and natural blonde color. I will continue to buy this hair coloring.

Was level 6-10 bronde with a lot of highlights. Decided to go back to my natural brunette for winter. Purchased in 5N and used with 20v developer to ensure gray coverage. Ratio is 1/1 - so you'll need equal amounts. Put this on my roots heavily and some larger chunks and pulled through with a vented "wet brush". 40 minute developer time. Shampooed and heavily conditioned as per Clairols instructions. Color came out exactly as the picture shows, covered my grays and blended beautifully with the brush through. Hair came out shiny, soft and looks naturally highlighted. Could not be more pleased you never know with the brunette shades if it's going to come out Elvira style dark.

This is an excellent professional-grade hair color for at-home use! I love the 4N shade, it effectively covers my grey roots and leaves my hair silky and shiny. You'll need to purchase a 20-volume developer separately to use it. My hair color is dark brown with some natural highlights.

I had pink/red/copper/rose gold hair for 14 years. Recently I used hair color remover plus a few sessions of bleach/bleach bath to get it to between level 9 and level 10. Artificial pigments are stubborn! I used the high lift 12A ash blonde and crossed my fingers that this would achieve a non-yellow pale blonde result. It worked! Not too ashy, worked beautifully root to ends. The persistent hold tones from previous hair color became a very light beige blonde and elsewhere it is platinum. I can't guarantee this will work for everyone. I am naturally a level 8 blonde, so my virgin hair goes white-blonde pretty quickly. But the ends and midzone hair had the artificial pigments and this color conquered it!

Feels weird, almost like a glop of oil, had to wash my naturally dry hair 3 times to get the feel out

I'm not happy with the result as the hair came out very dark, although it's number 7. The quality of hair after colouring is bit dry.

Love this color. I have bleached hair some dark. First time trying this product. I have my hair bleached by hairdresser several times and this solution didn't burn at all.
