Banyan Botanicals Beauty Balm - USDA Certified Organic, 4 oz - Shatavari & Rose Geranium to Moisturize & Soften Skin

I practice Ayurveda, and castor and sesame oils are classic balms for the breasts in this lifestyle/healing modality because of their unique tissue composition. I was thrilled to find this balm--Banyan makes great versions of EVERYTHING, the ingredients are amazing (it includes guggulu and chanca piedra aerials which are herbs well-suited for lymphatic congestion), and the aroma (which is natural, not fragrance) is somewhere between tobacco and black tea and definitely husband-friendly, if that's your thing. As far as I'm aware, there is nothing else on the market as good as this. After using, my breasts themselves feel lighter and less congested somehow, similar to getting out of the sauna. It feels great on my skin, and the skin on my chest glows. I'm buying this as long as they have it in stock.

I absolutely LOVE this balm. The Rose geranium scent is beautiful and calming. I’ve read some reviews regarding that it is unpleasant- I think it’s safe to assume that some may be unfamiliar with the natural scent of ghee which can be unusual to those who are unfamiliar with it and can take take some adjusting. It essentially smells of milk but slightly intensified. Once you are familiar with the scent of ghee, it normalizes. I purchased this product because of its natural benefits. Ghee is deeply moisturizing - a little bit goes a LONG way. I simply apply 3 dots- one on my forehead and two on my cheeks and it beautiful covers my whole face and neck. A dime size would be too much as the skin will only absorb the amount it needs. Initially, I wanted to use this as a night cream but I find myself using it in the day now as well. It also feels like a one-stop shop. Although I use a separate brand for eye cream. I’m no longer using it and focus the balm around my eyes when I’m massaging it in. I’m all about reducing the amount of products in my skin care regimen- it saves money and decreases the chance of adverse effects on my sensitive skin. My skin care routine consists of 1)oatmeal face wash in the morning 2) exfoliate with face scrub (store bought or a homemade ayurvedic recipe blend) 3-4 a week to remove makeup and any oil residue. I also find that the balm absorbs best after an exfoliation. 3) Tone my face with rose water with a cotton pad (also focusing on wiping the eyelids- I wear contacts and have been prone to the occasional stye) Rose water is excellent in removing mascara and oil residue. I find that if I don't use rose water to refresh my eyes a stye builds, reminding me that I've slacked on my Rosewater cleanse. After a shower, I also spritz rosewater on a pad and clean the inside and outside of my ears ears. Wipe my armpits before applying my Crystal deodorant and will spritz my hair after a washing my hair. 4) Gently massage the Beauty Balm on my face and will apply a very small amount in my nostrils and around the eardrum. No longer using a separate eye cream or day cream. And then start my makeup routine. I'm a 38 year old year old black woman, who has worked in wellness for over 10 years. Early on in my career, I'd volunteer myself whenever an aesthetician needed a face to try a new product on. Unfortunately, one of those treatments burned my face and created a monster of sensitivity on my face. I am grateful that the only lasting visual effects of that is a discoloration that where the skin around my eyes are slightly darker in appearance. Aside from this, I am constantly complimented on the the suppleness and clarity of my skin. Partly due to genetics but also due to my natural skincare routine. I am grateful of companies that are true to their brand and philosophy such as Banyan. Question: I read that ghee also has a lactic acid component. Is this true? If so, I think it's an added benefit. Will Banyan create a skin care line that also includes and Ubtan for exfoliation and/or a face cleaning balm?

Amazing product that works well

I’ve been having the worst breast and nipple pain ever before my cycle due to perimenopause symptoms and I tried a synthetic form of HRT (wild yam cream) since I don’t want to use real HRT and it made my breast pain so much worse!!! They were so swollen I couldn’t even lay on them. They would wake me up in the middle of the night throbbing. I stopped using the wild yam cream and bought this and felt results IMMEDIATELY!! Now every time my breasts get painful I put this balm on and the pain goes away!! It’s not 100% perfect but it’s almost 95% improvement. It doesn’t smell bad either or stain my clothes which I thought would happen because it’s brown color, and it’s not oily either. It’s on subscribe and save now so I never run out.

I purchased this to help with the soreness I typically experience before that time of the month. I do feel it helped on the very first application, and I'm curious to see if it continues to work! I'm really into using the most natural products I can find. Of course, this means paying a bit of a premium from time to time. I do wish this jar was larger (I'd even be willing to pay a bit more for a larger size). That's the issue with a lot of more natural products - you pay more, you get less. But what you're getting is absolute quality. So, I advise using this balm somewhat sparingly to make it last a bit longer. I can see how some folks might not enjoy the scent of this product, because it doesn't smell "girly." It might be strange to say, but the scent reminded me of stepping into church, like the scent of church candles. And, in fact, the consistency of the balm does seem a bit on the "waxy" side, sort of like a partially melted candle. I will continue to use this product, hoping for continued success!

I recently fell and landed on my backside and bounced my head off a rock. I ended up really sore and with a brain bleed. I used this on my backside and let me say, it really helped with the healing and pain

The cream is rich, but after using one jar I believe it was the rose geranium on my face, I started to notice dry rough spots on my cheekbones and my forehead,bridge of my nose of which I had never had before. Ordering the 2nd jar the issue with dry rough even small bumps appeared on these areas of my face of which I had never had before..I stopped putting the cream on my face it's been about 2-3 weeks, and returned to using my regular face cream. (Neutrogena)The rough dry areas disappeared. I'm guessing some ingredient in the cream didn't agree with my skin..I no longer will use on my face, perhaps I use the second jar for areas of my body that aren't so sensitive such as heels of my feet which go through hell and back during the summer..dated June 7, 2025

This balm is absolutely amazing! Great price. It does everything it promises and more! Contains all truly natural highest quality ingredients, smells very nice, helps sooth sore or cramping muscles, dry hands, skin irritations, and even seemed to reduce the pain and discoloration of a bruised bone. I am so grateful to find this company. God bless them.

I received it today. When I opened the box, it was a bit soggy and threw the card box however upon opening the bottle just now, the cap is broken and so it the seal and the bottle looks like been used or leaked. I need a new bottle or a refund now. Very disappointed . Thanks
