Great solar field watch.
Great solar field watch. Typical Casio quality. Dial looks great. Good weight. Good size at 42mm. Very legible, clear mineral glass. Seems to be accurate over several hours. Strap is not great, but I knew that from other reviews. I put on a 22mm nylon strap that works great. Very happy overall.

Great watch
Greatest EDC watch for me. Only thing that would make it better is if it had radio controlled time like some Citizen watches. Since everything is digital. I like the analog look when it comes to watches. Because everything is digital I still struggle to quickly read an analog watch and with my job, timestamps are important. I sometimes have to switch from military to Am/Pm. This watch clearly displays both and still shows the minutes on the bezel, honestly helps reduce the time it takes me to read the time. The band was loose or tight at first. Turns out I have been wearing watches too close to the base of my wrist. My wife told be they should be a finger or 2 away from my hand. I did that and watch fits perfectly, not going back. The band has separated and dropped a few times when it gets caught on a backpack or belt but any watch would have. I really like that the inside of this band is a kind of leather, helps keep it in place. I have yet to find a nato strap that I like. That would be my only mod to this watch. Another small plus is the date. I like that Saturday (SAT) is blue text, Sunday (SUN) is red text and the rest are black. It even has the dates in Spanish. Decent price and rugged without too much bulk. From now on this is the watch I will compare other watches too when I shop.

Great watch for the money.
I contemplated this watch or another Casio that was nearly two and a half times the price with several additional features I may or may not have used. I just couldn’t pull the trigger on spending more money considering how hard I can be on watches while doing physical labor of all types. I also opted to go with something that just kept it simple with only keeping the time and date. The size is perfect for me . I’ve had this watch for about a month now after transitioning from an Apple Watch and it took me a few days to get the week day and date to cycle properly but once I figured out how they worked it was easy to set. Some customers share concerns about the band being of poor quality or being cheaply made and coming apart or not staying latched. I have had no issues with it. It can actually be difficult at times unbuckling it for removal but I have had no issues with quality or workmanship or the band coming apart. The time piece keeps perfect time and I have had no issues with battery life or solar charging. The only concern I would voice is that the face is hard to read when there is no ambient light. The hands are the only things that glow and they are not very bright. This is my reason for a 4 star review, if I could do 4.5 I would. It would have been nice if they were brighter or the hour marks glowed to help see the hands or face better when there is no light. It is very challenging to read the time when it’s pitch black out.

Solid
After going through pictures and reviews, I got exactly what I was hoping for: a well-made, solar-powered timepiece that’s not too large, easy to read, stylish, and has a nice bit of heft. The functionality is solid—the hands align well with the indices, and it keeps time accurately. I really appreciate the inclusion of both the day and date. It makes for a great everyday watch—reliable, comfortable, and versatile. I’d recommend pairing it with a new 22mm watch band for the best experience. Something I will add, to not have trouble with the day/date not changing at midnight or changing during the day, the watch does consider am/pm with the day/date. So if its not changing at midnight. Move it forward 12hrs and then set the day/date in-between the hours of 4am-9pm

Outstanding watch, lots of compliments. Get a different strap.
This watch is great! Typical Casio quality and value. Note for the pictures: I was 5'10" and 195lb at the time the pictures were taken, not a huge wrist size. Size L gloves for my hands. 38mm-ish is my preferred watch size. Pros: - Clean & classy, dress it up or down - Simple and easy to read - Solar is great, charges quick - Solidly built, seems durable - Stands out, but not flashy (be ready for compliments when you wear it) - Love the 24hr values under the main digits on the face Cons: - I wish it had sapphire glass, but can't complain at the price point (and the mineral glass hasn't been a problem) - A bit taller and heavier than most watches I like to wear (with the exception of my G-Shocks, which are taller; I wear a lot of slim & minimalist dress watches) - The sweep isn't super consistent or smooth, but that's not expected at this price point I'm not particularly hard on watches and have a good collection I rotate through. In the past few years, I've started moving towards solar watches- when you have a number of watches, you're constantly playing roulette with battery replacement. Moving to solar watches has been great- no more batteries to replace, no more winding! I read reviews ahead of time and knew the strap would be a weak point (and therefore didn't take a star off the review). I waited until this watch was on sale and then purchased a StrapHabit 22mm Quick Release Sailcloth and FKM Rubber Hybrid Watch Strap (https://a.co/d/0imoiOa) alongside it. The upgraded watch strap is a necessity and the hybrid band both looks like it was made for this watch and has the rigidity to support the weight. It look a total of 15 seconds to change the straps- don't avoid this watch just because of the straps or because you don't know how to change them! It's simple and quick! Also as a note for people who say they got the wrong language model- this has both English and Spanish values for the weekdays. When setting, just be aware of this. Also be aware of the AM vs PM value- it will matter for the date and/or language setting. After a day or two, you may need to adjust it forward or backward 12hr. Since doing so, I've had no problems with the date or time. Overall, this is one of my favorite watches in the collection and gets a lot more wrist time than anticipated. It's also one of the cheapest in my current collection and I get more compliments on this watch than any others I wear. I would definitely recommend it- just make sure you get a different strap to enjoy this watch to the fullest extent.

Nice field watch at a good price, but horrible watch strap.
A decent lightweight, solid field watch at a reasonable price. With the solar charging function, remembering to replace batteries won't be an issue. But that band the watch comes with is one of the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced on a watch even at this price point. One of the reason why I originally purchased this watch was because the watch band looked cool, but it's extremely uncomfortable. I ended up swapping out the band for the Ritche 22mm Military Ballistic Nylon Strap With Black Heavy Buckle Watch Band and swapped out the spring bars for the Wellfit Watch Pins, Heavy Duty Spring Bar to be safe. This combination is far more comfortable when wearing the watch while working or doing other active tasks. The illumination on the hands is also not great. The hands are exposed to direct sunlight most of the day and they're not visible once it gets dark. Charge the hands with a UV light and they glow for a couple of seconds and then go dark. Despite the short comings of the illumination on the hands and the strap, if you're looking for a good looking, budget field watch style watch that you won't mind losing or breaking, that has solar charging this isn't a bad option.

One of My favorite Budget Watches
I love this watch! I went into the ocean for more than 2 hours with this watch, and I saw no signs of water inside the case. Something good about it, too, is that you can dress it up with a steel bracelet. Since it is a quartz movement, the time accuracy is phenomenal.

Good solid field watch
When considering this watch, remember that this is a field watch, not a dive watch. There have been some complaints about the bezel being stationary; the chrome bezel, and it’s markings are merely part of the design, not meant to be a function as one might expect of any true dive watch. That said, this watch is extremely accurate, and charges very rapidly and sunlight. It is easy to read, just about the right size, and the second hand aligns perfectly with the indices. As for the watchband, which has received numerous complaints, it’s a sturdy piece of canvas with metal rimmed holes which are slightly too far apart to assure a perfect fit;on my 7 inch wrist, it was either slightly too tight or slightly too loose. I replaced the band immediately with a silicon model. The lume is good for a short period of time, but not reliable enough to get through the entire night. The finishing is smooth, the weight is scarcely noticeable, and the quartz movement assures great accuracy. As a grab and go field watch, I feel this is one of the best you can buy for the price.
