The convenience of external fill in a sleek bike pack. The 2L Antidote reservoir can be refilled on the fly via the quick-release flap on the front of the pack. Two external pockets for small items like keys, wallet, phone or storage for a shed layer. Stretch elastic side panels provide for expansion; twin compression straps shrink pack down when empty. Reflective back strip with tab to click on a blinker for early morning and evening safety. Review: Was Perfect for the Spartan Beast - I bought this for long obstacle course races and I was not disappointed. I filled this up numerous times and it was easy. There is a flap that opens and then you have access to a large opening. The bag itself is good because it has numerous zippered pockets. I was able to keep Clif bars, peanut butter packets, Clif Bloks, KT tape, and even a spare set of disposible contacts (just in case). Also, the fit was great and I could run and didn't even notice that I was carrying 2 liters of water on my back. I would recommend to anybody serious about getting into OCR racing. Review: another great pack. - This is my 3nd Camelbak and it lives up to their high standards. I use this for 8+ miles of running or 15+ miles of cycling, which equates to use 2-3 times a week. The pack doesn't generate heat as it seems to breath well. Both pockets are big enough for my iPhone 6+ but I prefer to keep it in the top pocket where it is snug and I can feed the headphones out the zipper and throughly the water pocket. Straps breath well and the front breast strap is NOT elastic and have plenty of length to adjust. (Elastic straps stretch and become a pain.) Water bladder holds enough get to me 20-30 miles. (I just road 60 miles in 80-90 degrees and refilled 3 times.) Overall, another great pack.

Nice quality but high price
Camelbak has been making great products for years and their warranty is great, however, this little guy is a bit snug on me (6-2, 290) and costs more than twice what I paid for a similar bag at Costco that has a better fit and same water capacity. The filler hole is large, but not as big as the other brand, which opens completely at the top to make adding ice and water a snap. The top then folds over and is sealed with a slide clamp. The cap for the Camelbak filler hole provides a good seal with an o-ring but it is difficult to seat properly and then twist to lock, which often leads to spillage. The bag has less of a plastic taste and it is fading, but it is still noticeable after several uses. The other brand's bag is about the same. Storage space in the Camelbak is considerable less than the other brand, but I find the Camelbak storage to be sufficient. Insulation works well and the vented shoulder straps help keep me cooler. Less storage space also means less weight, and that is always a good thing. The wings that swing out to hold the bag open to dry work marginally at best. I still need to open up the bag with something (like my hand) before the wings will partially hold it open. There must be a better way.

Great for long distance runs.
This pack has been a lifesaver for me. I run Spartan races and have used it for my Beat and Super. It is not too heavy, but has plenty of water and space for storing fuels and whatever else you may need. Pockets are big enough for phone, keys, energy bars, and more. To put it in perspective, on my most recent race, I took 4 builder bars, 7 clif Blok packages, a roll of medical tape, a headlamp, 15 packs of mustard, and a small pill bottle, and STILL had room! The tube for water was in a comfortable position and easy to access while running, as were the pockets. It does rub a little when directly against the skin on your shoulders, but a sleeved shirt can combat this. I am a woman of average built, and I found it fit well, and did not bounce as I ran. It was also easily adjustable.

Very disappointed in this pack.
Very disappointed in this pack. I've owned several Camelbak's before and thought they were great! This is poorly designed, it has a weird plastic handle hanging off the bladder you have to use to close it up, What is wrong with a snap buckles they use on all of their other models. The bladder is a pain to install when full and I like to remove it for cleaning ,drying and to put ice in it. It has a small hole for the bladder and uses elastic to widen it which was way to small on my pack, you have to insert the bladder then put ice and water in it which often leads to a wet pack. The straps dig into my shoulders (I'm 6'1" and have contractor shoulders so this might be OK for smaller framed people) The bite valve is 22 degrees from the tub which does not work as well as the 45 degree valve which is on most of their other models. The plastic snap guide for the bite valve tube broke on the fifth use. I think some newbie designed this bag that has no real life experience with this sort of item. I'm very surprised at the good reviews which is why I tried this in the first place. A total wast of my hard earned money. I have been riding mountain bikes for 20 years and have owned many packs including Camelpak to compare this to. Osprey here I come

Perfect for EDC!!!
Exactly what I needed! I bought this Camelbak Rogue, Black to take with me to EDC this year. I absolutly love the space in the pockets! It fits everything I plan on taking with me into the event. I also own a Camelbak Classic but the pocket space just wasn't enough. This has the perfect amount of pocket space. I also did a size comparison of the Rogue & Classic, both are fairly similar in size. Which is another huge plus as the Classic's very small and compact which was one of the main reasons that lead me to buy it last year. I was concerned with how much of a size difference there was between the two and was very pleased to see that even though the Rogue has more pocket space it is still small and compact similar to the Classic. Camelbak is an awesome brand! They have not failed me once continuing to prove themselves to make fantastic products. I have used my hydration pack when I go hiking and when I go to EDM festivals. They are great to keep you hydrated and hold plenty of water to do so. I am also a fan of the crux reservoir as well! Never leaked on me once! I would DEFIANTLY recommend buying this Camelbak rogue hydration pack! It is absolutely worth the money! Perfect for hiking and music festivals!

Super price and an excellent item. Having never used a hydration system before and a lot of research I went with this one. I needed something that would obviously carry fluid, but also be able to carry some other items. There is a side zip pocket on the flap that pulls down over the filling lid for the bladder in which you can keep a little emergency money and credit card, car key and phone. A nice touch is that there is a little plastic karabiner that you can clip your key onto. At the bottom there is a pouch in which you can keep a multitool, tyre levers, patches, small first aid kit and tiny lube. Underneath that pocket is a mesh area where I keep a pack of anti-back wipes and a few bars. So the storage is not massive like a rucksack, but more than adequate if you are economical with what you take. The hydration pack itself is super easy with a big filler hole that secures so there are no leaks and the tube sits conveniently running down the top for your arm without being in the way and able to get at very easily. I have seen for sale various add-on clips etc. to secure the hydration hose, but I have not found the need for this as the hose is short and stiff enough to not flap around all over the place. Very rarely do you buy something without thinking "if only it had this, it would be perfect" but this is one of them. A great simple functional design that works well.

The Hydration Pack is just what I expected. Small and lightweight. It adjusts nicely to my size, no problem there. I can securely store smaller things (wallet, car keys and more). 2 liters of water is plenty enough for a few hours of hiking. I could not test it jet. At -25 Celsius you will not have water for long. The blue color is not my first choice, but the price was right.
