Overall and in detail excellent.Hose and insulation very good. Plenty long enough, and water in the tube while in the sun went from hot to merely warm. Quick connect clicks right into my new Fusion reservoir, and fusion reservoir has a check valve to prevent leakage when hose is removed.Like the bite valve with built in cover very much. Bite valve is also quick connect into the hose, and valve on hose prevents leakage when bite valve is removed.I've only had item for two weeks so cannot comment on durability.

I got a new Camelbak and hate the blue bladders that come with them (no mouthpiece covers or removable tube connections). The mil spec ones are my go-to since the bite valve is covered and comes apart for cleaning (the tube can be removed, too). Took it on a 60-mile cancer walk, and it didn’t leak once. Always remember to turn the lid a quarter turn to the left before tightening to the right. Folks who say they leak probably aren’t doing that little step—it aligns the screw grooves for leakproof tightness.

This tube is generally good but not completely isolates the outside heat. It is in reserve to the previous one that I already had and it is working well and in which I put an external aluminum sheet on the shoulder to better insulate the heat.

Fits Lunchbox and it doesn't leak. It is a about a foot longer than the original lunchbox hose, so I looped it from one shoulder to the next. Also love that there's a cap for when you throw your bag on the floor and your mouthpiece stays clean.

Had the regular camelbak and still do but when I saw a covered mouth piece I had to jump on this one. When I put my pack down I don't need to worry about the mouthpiece touching the ground or anything anymore now that its covered. The cover is easy to take on and off and the locking lug is easier to manipulate than the original model. The insulated tube in nice on hot days.

The mouth piece and attachments are all correct (a bit old but correct) the hose itself was not insulated, it just had a fabric wrap around it. I have another hose from a different bak and it has a neoprene cover
