A Guide to Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy: For Patients, Their Families, and Interested Physicians

Having been diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy with Obstruction on 06/09/2016, this book should be read by all persons diagnosed with this illness as well as read by their family members. The surgical procedure Septal Myectomy is in my future and I will take on this challenge with far more certainty after reading this book.

This book helped us to better understand this particular health challenge. It was strong in that regard. It did not help much with regard to dealing with the challenge of surgery etc.

I have had HCM for several years. It just became an 'interfering' portion of my life this last little while. I bought this book and it is perfect. It ties all aspects of learning about HCM to what I needed to get a "mile wide view" then begin to dig into my specific needs. I would recommend this to anyone who HAS HCM or has someone they love with HCM. It is a MUST read. (Don't usually do this. This book is that good.) Phh

This is a fantastic book for anyone with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy or if you have a loved one with it. It covers several of the aspects of living with this from diagnosis to treatment. I highly recommend it.
