Decent set to experiment for gearing

I liked the finished product and the cost. I have bought more since I got these.

I was given a 2WD Slash roller and decided to throw a $61 ESC and motor combo in it. It ran a little hot on the stock 23-86 gearing so I wanted to drop pinion teeth and decided to give these a try. The gears appear to be well made and came with grub screws for each pinion instead of just one for the set like a previous set I bought did. I had no problem getting a good gear mesh and it solved my issue. Tried the 19t first and am going to try the 21t next. The other pleasant surprise is that the grub screw allen key they provided is actually a decent tool. I used it to torque the pinion on and it fit as well as my name brand allens do. Would definitely recommend these.

So far I’m using the 23t on my traxxas slash, and the 20t on my losi sc and they seem to work great.

Definitely a good value for a quick set to find that right tune. Wouldn't recommend using the provided set screw and tool but overall satisfied.

This was my be of the best upgrades to my unit. Having a good variety of different gearing to perfect the gearing ratio you want and need. Easy install and I haven’t had any issues with durability thus far.
