This tape is fantastic! Worked great yo reduce the draft that was coming in bc we still have the ac units in the windows. I like that the tape can be pulled off and put back down in case you make a mistake unlike other tape ive used. Highly recommend for cold states to reduce air coming in

During the current arctic blast that lasted two weeks this sealing tape was a life saver. We could not use the living room because it got extremely cold due to constant draft. When it became unbearable I decided to order this tape as last resort. Such a relief after installing this tape. Used up the entire tape too. Thanks for making this available. It truly works. It is easy to install and the 3” width was perfect for our purpose. Not expensive either.

This has great wind protection, for in-between crevices in old windows. It also bends well around corners, etc. Just not sure if it will take off any paint, because it is extremely adhesive. It does come off for a second, if you want to fix it, while laying it down, in other words, it's workable. I recommend it.

Not only did the tape seal all cracks and crevices that drafts got into, it's clear and barely noticeable! A good width that keeps out the cold and keeps the heat in! This winter across the Eastern seaboard has been absolutely terrible and this simple, easy to use product ensures that it adheres without creases or kinks. Simple and straight forward, it may be basic tape, but it's a must have for any room that needs a bit of assistance with keeping the warm or cool in or out. I used this XFasten Transparent Window Weather Sealing Tape along with the Duck Brand shrink film, mainly to make sure the sides around my window AC were completely sealed. It worked extremely well. The tape sticks firmly, creates a tight seal, and helps block out any cold air that might sneak in through small gaps. One thing I really like is that it’s clear and low-profile, so it doesn’t look messy or obvious once applied. It also doesn’t leave that cloudy residue some tapes leave behind, which makes me confident it’ll come off cleanly when it’s time to remove it. If you’re using a window insulation kit or trying to seal up drafts around an AC, this tape is a great addition. It adds extra protection, stays in place, and keeps the edges airtight.

Actually worked really well! I live in a very drafty 100 year old home. We need new windows but this does the trick for now. Unsure about removal but I would probably use a hair dryer to soften the glue. I know it would take the stain off of wooden windows though as I accidentally caught it on the window sill and it left a mark. Wasn’t bothered as they need restained anyway!

I bought an old house built in 1929. The windows are the originals. They were very drafted after I moved in and there were a lot of leaks around some of the seals. I bought this to help keep some of the drafts out and hopefully improve the warmth in what I like to call one of our small studio bedrooms This is really easy to put up around the window it’s clear so it wasn’t very noticeable after I put it up and I was really surprised that it actually kept the air out. The room is now much warmer. The adhesive quality is spot on and it sticks. There’s not much of a stretch ability because it’s tape and the color being clear is nice so it kind of blends in with the window itself. This is something I would definitely continue to purchase in the future

I used this on a couple of older windows that always leak a little cold air, and it actually helped more than I expected. The tape is pretty transparant, doesn’t look messy, and it goes on smooth if you take your time. Repeat, you MUST TAKE YOUR TIME. I also liked that it didn’t leave gunk behind when I had to adjust a section so thats a huge plus there. For basic draft control, it does its job without turning into a headache. The only thing keeping it from a full five stars is that the isolatoin could be a bit stronger on really windy days. It still helps, just not as much as a full plastic window kit. But for quick sealing or small gaps, it’s great. Overall, it’s a solid option that adheres well and doesn’t trash your window frames. Good price when on sale. I think I'd pay a little extra for window film next time.

I purchased this due to the draught coming through the windows and surrounding edges , very easy to apply and sticks well. Make sure you line it up correctly as the glue is very strong. It’s definitely made a difference so I’m glad I made the purchase

excellent vraiment. Si les mousses ne suffisent pas pour isoler une fenêtre, cette bande semble l'ultime recours. Colle étonnement bien sur bois, plastique, pierre. Plus grand chose ne passe pour l'instant. Faut voir si cela tient comme cela pendant des semaines, alors je peux qualifier cela de produit miracle pour isoler , couper net les courants d'air. Pas trop cher, en plus

Compré esta cinta adhesiva aislante transparente porque por el marco de una de las ventanas del salón entraban muchas corrientes de aire, debido a la mala calidad del cerramiento y a la falta de puente térmico. En invierno se notaba bastante y hacía que la calefacción se encendiera con más frecuencia. Tras comparar varias opciones, me decidí por esta cinta porque ofrece más metros y mayor ancho que otras marcas por un precio más ajustado, algo importante si tienes varias ventanas o marcos que sellar. La colocación es muy sencilla. El adhesivo es fuerte, pero durante la instalación permite despegar y recolocar ligeramente si te equivocas, lo que ayuda a dejarla bien alineada sin estropearla. Una vez colocada correctamente, queda bien fijada. Después de varias semanas de uso, las corrientes de aire han desaparecido. El cambio se nota claramente en el confort del salón y también en que la calefacción entra menos tiempo, algo que se agradece en el día a día. En cuanto a la resistencia, ha habido días de mucho frío con condensación en la ventana, y la cinta no se ha despegado ni lo más mínimo, ni siquiera al pasar una bayeta para secar el agua. En ese aspecto, muy buen resultado. El material tiene buen grosor y, al ser transparente, apenas se nota visualmente una vez colocada, incluso sobre marcos claros, lo cual es un punto muy positivo. En resumen, es una solución sencilla, económica y eficaz para mejorar el aislamiento de ventanas sin obras. Muy contento con la compra.

If you don't mind cleaning over where the tape was for 1 hour after removing the tape this is fine. I don't know why but a heavy residue was left and incredibly difficult to clean. This is definitely not why we bought this product. I'm not sure if there are many limitations on how long you can leave the product on for?

Excellent!! I have many drafty windows in my house and used this , along with our very cold Alberta winters, this product amazing stopped the drafting on all my windows!! I even put a layer around my fireplace!! I don’t use it anymore so no risk of a fire, nor does it stick to brick very well,, but it works good enough for me, at least I will get some protection for my wood burning fireplace, as the drafting on the fireplace is quite strong,, it works great, and I’m very satisfied!!!!
