Q: Does this hydrate or otherwise help dry scalps?

I use this product for my face but I think it would work on dry scalp too. I use their jojoba oil for my hair and love it also!

Q: How do you use this on hair?

At night before bed, I apply several drops to my hands to warm it up, then I apply it to my hair, and comb it through so it’s thoroughly distributed (focus on the driest parts of your hair) and then shampoo it out the next day.

Q: It has been 2 days, my face feels dry and flaky. I thought it’s supposed to be smooth and softens your skin?

After you wash your face, put on a water based facial lotion, then you apply oil. Your face is probably getting dry because oil seals in moisture, and if you're skipping the facial water based lotion (so it can absorb into skin) it will dry out your skin. Hope this helps
