Boxes and inserts are very sturdy … the bottom and top barriers (cushions) help keep the bottles/glassware totally safe … these boxes may cost more than used ones at liquor stores;but, are far better when transporting over long distance … calculate the value of the shipper against the cost of 12 bottles of wine/liquor

I bought 2 of these wine boxes to move 2400 miles and they held up perfectly, no dents, and no broken wine/alcohol. The sizes adjust so if you have larger than average wine bottles they should fit sung. I’d buy again if moving long distance. I thought they were expensive but the amount of wine I had to move outweighs the cost of the sturdy boxes. Padding is cardboard and thick, there is a think lid that keeps items from moving then you close the box flaps for extra security. I’m satisfied with the quality and my purchase.

Instead of wine bottles I am storing antique milk bottles. Extra tight construction prevents breakage.

Highly recommend. Arrived assembled and ready to store 12 *standard* wine bottles. The boxes (and the wine!) were perfectly intact after being transported in a moving truck and taken up/down several flights of stairs on a dolly. I modified the dividers to accommodate the wide base of pinot and champagne bottles which reduced the capacity of the box from 12 to X, depending on how many walls I collapsed per box. But, that's expected; pinot enthusiasts already know that standard wine solutions don't work perfectly for pinot, and if they did accommodate the wide pinot bases, that extra room would compromise the standard wine bottle. So, I recommend buying this for your regular wines and using some creativity to make it work for your non-standard bottles.

The uhaul wine box held 11 bottles of pinot, but I had to alternate right side up and upside down due to wider base of the Pinots. Also I added 12 shop cloths folded to support the wine top since 6 of the bottles were upside down. No issues with shipment on airline in the winecheck padded container. The box is a little smaller than the container, it could have be bigger.THE DELIVERY WAS AWFUL. THE BOX in a BOX Overpack left at end of 100 foot driveway, and the sprinklers were on watering the box. ALSO, Amazon did not have the normal was your shipment good or bad, only this comment method, so i'm giving it 3 stars because of the shipping.

Kept the stash safe while moving. Can't ask for more.
