As a proud owner of a full grown German Shepherd with anxiety issues, I’ve gone through several back seat extenders for dogs, but none have impressed me like this one. I originally bought it to solve a few problems I encountered with previous extenders: many would bend or fold under the weight of my dog, trapping him in a way that essentially turned the car seat into a hammock. This caused my dog to feel unsupported and anxious, which was exactly the opposite of what I needed. I was looking for something sturdy, supportive, and durable for my large dogs (my Shepherd weighs between 80–90 lbs). After years of use, I’m happy to say that this Back Seat Extender has held up incredibly well. It’s still just as sturdy as the day I got it. The bottom is thick and supportive enough that my dog no longer feels as uneasy or stressed out during trips. The platform is solid, which gives my German Shepherd the space and comfort he needs. Another thing worth mentioning is that I have a 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback, and this extender fits perfectly. It was incredibly easy to install and fits into the backseat without any issues, making it a seamless addition to my car. It doesn’t slide around, and it offers just the right amount of coverage to ensure my dog stays comfortable and secure. What really sets this extender apart from others I’ve tried is its exceptional durability. No bending, no folding, and no pockets that my dog can get stuck in. It’s just a well made, reliable product that has made car trips much more enjoyable for both my dog and me. I feel much better knowing he has the support he needs, and I highly recommend this extender to anyone with large dogs. In short, this is by far the best back seat extender I’ve used and I’m grateful for the peace of mind it provides for both me and my furry companion. Pros: Durable, even after years of use. Provides ample support for large dogs. Fits perfectly in my 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback. Does not bend or fold, unlike cheaper models. Cons: None that I’ve experienced this product has been a game changer for whaty I was looking for! Definitely worth the investment for any pet parent with large dogs.

Nice cover! Easy to clean and easy to fold up and put away when not using it. It’s a nice touch that the buckles have locks on them so you know it’s not going to fall off and is held in place. Makes the dog happy so he’s not sliding off the back seat! I’ve had this for a while and it’s holding up really well.

This fits perfectly in the back seat of mazda C 5 and covers the foot wells so the dogs have a sturdy safe area in the back seat. Well made, holds 150 lbs of 2 dogs.1 side folds up for a passenger, thoughtful design, 2 slots for connecting a strap to collar or harness for safety. Straps fit quickly around head rests & hand hold handles. Easy to install or remove. Only con is the base is covered with material that is a bit slippery (probably to wipe up easily) and i throw a rug down for stability. Be aware if you position you front seats all the way back they may be right against the hardboard base, & you can prop the base up when the dogs aren't in the car. We really like being able to use it with the longer safety straps or leash clipped to harness instead of the dogs loose in the far back. They like being closer to us and enjoy the rides. Really nice product.

This fits and works as designed. The good is it works as intended. All the zippers work it has good clips and is easy to clean. The hard floor is solid and allows the dogs more space to spread out. The down side is in my 2026 Silverado 1500 its just to big and all the walls sag despite me adjusting as best I can. I would have liked it to come with 2 belt harnesses.

Having two husky mixes who shed hair like crazy, I was looking for an alternative seat cover for my car since the old one I had would have hair stick to the fabric really bad, which made keeping my car clean pretty annoying and needlessly difficult. Since buying this one, I can happily say it works great!! This one is made of a leather/pleather material. I’ve had this for a few months now and cleaning the hair out works like a charm and is super super easy. For the most part, I can just shake or brush it out and it’s good and clean again!! So 12/10 recommend this seat cover just solely for that, with how easy it is to clean if your dogs are also super shedders. I also love that it has the hard bottom panels that give the dogs more space. I also feel it helps my pups with motion sickness. One of my dogs has always disliked car rides because they make her motion sick and make her feel bad. Previously, she wouldn’t even climb in the car, you would have to drag her and physically lift and put her in the car. Now, she happily hops right in on her own!! So I think having that stable base instead of the hammock style (what my old cover was) has really been helpful for her. Another great quality of life feature that this cover has is it has two pretty strong Velcro openings that you can feed a dog seatbelt through. Conveniently, it also comes in a nice and compact little bag that you can easily fold it up and store it in whenever you’re not using it in your car. I would happily buy this product again just for the convenience and quality of life it has provided for and my pups when we go on adventures.

Very sturdy and durable. My 140lb German Shepherd constantly goes back and forth in back seat during entire car ride. Previous covers flop around which exposes leather seat of my Hyundai Sonata. This stays in place and has quilted padding - stitched well. Will save $ in long run by not having to replace it as often compared with other covers every few months. Fits perfectly and looks nice!

Awesome product. If you are getting a new puppy, or two get this! It saved our back seat from every puppy stain you could imagine. It has a strong hard floor so it can support their weigh. They have chewed through the door supports that protects the car doors but we attached a cord that works ok. I am so glad we bought this and they are used to it, and fall asleep together, and no car accidents.

Using in a 2017 double cab ram 1500, so smaller than a crew cab but still the regular opening doors. If is not quite wide enough for the back seat of a full size truck (does quite reach properly across my back seat), but all the full size truck versions of these were slightly too deep to fit between my back seat and the rear of the front seats. This one is good for the depth in a full size quad/double cab (depending on what your manufacturer calls them), it fits well between the front and back seats, but is a bit too narrow across the rear seats. Has held up very well though with my 100lb dog on long road trips though. Not perfectly water proof though, I had a drink leak in my back seat all over it, and it did leak through and soak into my seat, but overall it's still a great product. Easy to set up.

This fits really well and everything is protected from the dirty dogs!! I also love that I can just wipe it down and store it away when not needed. I just wish it was a little higher in the area between the front seats as a couple of my dogs could climb over it if they wanted. But it is all great!!
