Got this as part of my husbands 40th birthday. It’s a cute/fun gift idea but some of the candy inside was old/not edible. The snickers had that old chocolate white film on it & the fortune cookies had a strong chemical like smell- we couldn’t eat them. I am reusing the tin for some of our medical supplies so there’s that, but maybe some will have better luck with the candy idea or better yet, just buy your own just in case. The little joke boxes can be reused.

I ordered this as a fun gift for my sister inlaw. She liked it at first till she when to enjoy some of the candy. Over half the box was expired items. Not just recent as well but 6 months to a year.
