I am building a big tire single speed bike and these are perfect for that application.It has made me a believer that caliper brakes (some caliper brakes) are just as good or better than V brakes and definitely far less hassle than disc brakes!

Good quality brakes, and probably what you need if you’re doing a 27” to 700c conversion and need longer reach brakes. These are well made and nicely finished.

Fantastic brakes for commuter bikes, or Dutch-style bikes, with fenders. The arms are long enough to clear the fenders, and the position of the shoes is also adjustable. The stock brakes on my bike performed poorly: barely slowing down, "squishy", and squealed. The R559s work excellently.These brakes work well with the Tektro FL750 levers, for an old-fashioned look. I also used Jagwire Road Elite Sealed brake cable kit.

Very happy with these. Even the pads are solid. If you think you'll need cantis, think again. The quick release is a big improvement.

Fürs alte Rennrad, habe sie gegen die alten Weinman Bremsen getauscht weil die immer verrutscht sind, diese haben 2 Sicherungsringe and beiden Seiten wodurch nichts verrutscht :))
