The other reviews nailed it. The dress is beautiful. True it's stretchy. I'm usually between 16-18 and the 16 fit me perfectly because of the give. I'm curvy so the silhouette fits hips and butt like a glove. Not that it deters me but the material is a little itchy and the band around the thigh is quite fitted. Not a lot of stretch there so when I walk I can hear some of the seems pop. It's black and well constructed so honestly it doesn't matter as much as it sounds alarming. Fear not the dress stays in tact. I'll adds photo when I get ready for the event. Love JS collection formal wear. Have a couple other dresses that are stunners.

Such an elegant, beautiful dress that shows off ones figure quite well! I usually wear an 8 or 10 in formal wear. This gown in a 10 was too big. The 8 has plenty of room in it to move and dance the night away comfortably. There are bra cups in the dress so you don't have to worry about a bra. The length is good for me also. I am 5"6" and will wear 2.5" or 3" heels with it. It is very well made with gorgeous detail work on it. I think it's the perfect dress for a Mardi Gras ball.

This dress is amazing! It is a very flattering dress. I am a solid size 2, which in this dress was a bit loose. The material is stretchy and not tight at all. I could have easily sized down one size. The detail is lovely, and it is a very elegant dress. Even with it being a bit loose, I am extremely pleased. Gorgeous dress!!
