I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly these nail files arrived—fast shipping is always a bonus. As for the files themselves, they're fantastic! They cut through the top coat of my gel nail polish with ease, making the removal process so much faster and more efficient. I especially love the curved shape of the files—it feels much more natural in my hand and gives me better control while filing. That thoughtful design really makes a difference during use. The files are thick, sturdy, and durable. They have just the right amount of grit—not too coarse, but definitely strong enough to handle more than one use. In fact, I was able to file off the gel top coat on both hands with just a single file, and it's still in great shape for another round. That’s pretty impressive! Overall, these are high-quality, salon-worthy files that I’ll definitely be repurchasing. Highly recommend for anyone who does their own gel nails at home!

I’ve used these files for FIVE years! I dip my own nails (similar to acrylic for those who don’t know) and I’m only half way through my second pack. They last THAT long! That includes buffing/shaping my mani AS WELL AS filing my ENTIRE set of dip off every 2-4 weeks! If you know, you know! (That’s with the exception of the occasional soak off.) You can’t beat the price or quality, so as long as they don’t change I won’t be switching. NOTE: These are NOT typically for natural nails. They’re INTENTIONALLY VERY ROUGH to meet the intended need! Which is hard, acrylic type nails. If you use them on natural nails, you have to use the finer grit side and be careful. ALSO: You HAVE to season these files! They WILL cut you otherwise!! Take one file and “file” every edge of the file you intend to use (even the ends) to dull those edges. If you’ve made it this far, please ignore the poor ratings from the uninformed. If you need a strong, long lasting file to buff, shape, etc. your dip/acrylic nails, GET EM!! I don’t do reviews often but the topic came up in a nail group so I wanted to share how much I love these files when I saw the bad reviews.

I’d recommend these for sure. Bought them for my own nails not acrylic, gel etc. There’s just in thing to know, if you’ve always only used the basic kinds you can buy at Walmart or rite aid: they are more abrasive imo. While it’s a plus, cause that means you can shape your nails easily before it actually wears out to be unusable, the coarser side, is very coarse, and the finer side, is still a bit coarser than I’d like, for me to do the final shaping. It’s a very close emery grind one side from the other. It takes a bit getting used to, how really light you need to be not to end up with very short nails. I could not find a better option when I looked at reviews, for one with a bit of a finer grind on the one side, and these had a lot of positive comments. They are great on toes too, as usually your toenails are a bit stronger than fingernails. Price was very good for how many you get, and I like the shape of it, easier to hold and maneuver. All in all thumbs up for sure, but 4 stars only for me.
