MIdnight Feeding - Secret Saturday Action Figure

Er, um, I'm sorta with "Giant mutant scorpion"...yeah. All I can say is that on November 23, 2011, my daughter handed me her illustration of me, and I looked like Mothman. Questions: What did or does she see in the still hours of the night? Is she human? Am I really that ugly and mean? Anyway, when she received this set on Xmas morning 2012, she stared deeply at it, then declared that she liked it. However, I cannot say that I feel exactly the same. I was so excited when I saw this set at "Big Lots" for $1.50 that I gave nary a glance to the "playset" that the figs come with. Alas, the background that you see in the pic is nothing more than cheap cardboard parts that sit in a cardboard base- very fitting for inclusion in a cereal box or even on the back of a cereal box. Mothman is 1.75" tall, the chick is 1.25" tall, and her son is 1" tall. Softer plastic, so keep kids with idle hands away. And while I believe that mass hysteria originated by bored teenagers coupled with poor bridge design creates tragic legends, I sometimes find myself peeking through my curtains at night, wondering what I will see.

Where were theser when I was young ! A delight to give them to my ten year old grandson. Enjoy them all they are great fun to discuss with the kids.

I mainly wanted this for the Mothman character since I'm originally from Point Pleasant. Good buy for the price!

this is it,the most detailed a mothman (owlman and mothman are the same) figure gets! first off,the humans are detailed epicly,as is the mothman. i have a blast with this,and i don't even know who those guys are except i know the mothman,who i've wanted for EVER! the girl has an arrow with a sword handle and the boy has a grapple hook on a stick. humans have no articulation whatsoever,but mothman's arms and wings bend very easily and are extremely durable while doing so. it also comes with a little background made of cardboard,though mine has some holes,meaning it's probably missing pieces,or maybe those are in another pack? anyway,all i know is that the show's called secret saturdays and comes on cartoon network,and that i got it for mothman,because he is awesome. mothman is,as said in the legends,a dark colored creature with red eyes,though they put a red grin that looks evil,but he was a good guy in reality,so let's just say that look is his "bring it on!" look and leave it at that. it really is durable and educational because he is one of the proven "myths". the only reason fun is 4 stars is because it is a little small,like just over an inch,as the humans are an inch and mothman is taller,as in real life. another thing is limited articulation may make this boring for a little one,but if your a die-hard mothman fan like me who's always wanted a figure that does mothman justice,this will take the cake. and i don't know what the show says,but i'll tell you what i know about him:mothman first appeared in 1966 when linda scarberry saw him out her car window. he warned about tragedies,but faced his biggest one:the silver bridge was falling! he tried to hold it,but failed. he later appeared in 2001 when he fought off planes (at least tried.) in the world trade center event. it is believed he appeared in the 2011 tsunami in japan,but all we have is a video of a shadow from a chopper on the water,so it is unlikely. you can read more on the internet. they made a gold statue (i believe it was destroyed and replaced with a silver one.) and a museum in his honor,as well as tours retracing the eyewitness's steps and going into his home,the tnt plant. owlman appeared in london flying over a building,many more seeing the same thing in london. it is just like the mothman in point pleasent,and they look exactly alike (hint,hint!) whichever name you call him by,this figure is awesome! i guess the 2 kids are hunters,but i don't know. if you watch secret saturdays or your a mothman fan this is a great buy,but little ones probably won't appreciate it as much,and these could fit in their mouths. durable,flexible (mothman),and VERY detailed! warning:mothman's arms are in a weird pose,but it is easily covered by the sheer awesomeness of the figure and it's inspiration!
