Great price!Yes, it could be tuned up differently, but I didn't want it for an orchestra!I wanted a big drum for a drumming circle and this baby does the job!It makes a good booming sound that is a lot of fun to play around with.People are selling it for three times this price elsewhere. I was under the impression it was 3 drums. It’s a great drum and pretty big. Will be great for drum circles but not sure if I’m keeping it yet. Was expecting 3 drums.

Big! Loud! Robust! Everything a toddler needs! We’ve bought a few drums from this company and my son (since he was 2) loves Japanese Taiko drum groups. This gets him pretty close to doing it the way they do lol. He wails on it so we put ear-pro on him. It can be super loud.

Huge. We love it. It’s has much more bass then I’d expect, especially if you tilt it off the floor a bit with you feet. Worth every penny tho. We paid $150 for ours and consider it a deal. Kids love it, parents love it, music teacher loves it, everyone loves it.

The first Remo kids drum we purchased was the 10" floor tom. Absolutely great drum, 100% buy recommendation.At the time I ordered this drum, the photo on the Amazon page was incorrect - it showed a 22 x 8 drum, however, the description is for a 22 x 21 drum and that is what you are buying. I contacted the seller and I presume the correct photo will be posted shortly.I really wanted to like this drum. Unfortunately, drums are fussy things. I have banged on many drums for many hours (yes, my grand fantasy is that I am a drummer in a rock band). No hope there, however, I do know what a drum should sound like. Essentially, a clear boom is the desired effect.Unfortunately, this drum lacks the clarity required of anything but a toy for a room full of kids to mindlessly bang on. When struck, a drum produces a fundamental harmonic. If the overtones agree with the fundamental, a pleasing sound is produced. If the harmonic overtones are random, then a harsh, rattling, jarring sound is produced.I think Remo has gotten ahead of their technical abilities on this product. Terrific idea, a gathering drum for kids. Sorry, execution is severely lacking.Not that you should not buy this product, a room full of kids banging on a drum is a wonderful thing. However, my recommendation is that you buy a for real bass drum (used, and for less money). These are listed on "bayeee". I purchased a Pdp 22 x 16 for less than one Benjamin. Totally rocks out! Maybe a pawn shop, if one is convenient.

This is one large drum. Amazing. But there isn’t 3 drums

I got this drum for my one year old as she is obsessed with music. I didn’t realise how big it is but it’s size is part of the charm. It’s sturdy and I hope it will last us many years.

Habe die Trommel für elementare Musikkurse gekauft. Sie hat sehr viel Bass und kann ziemlich laut werden. Sollte man bein Musizieren mit kleinen Kindern drosseln. Leider ist das Fell von innen mit dem bunten Bezug beklebt, der auch am Korpus klebt. Beim Vorgängermodell war das Fell im Gegenlicht durchsichtig. Die Kinder konnten, wenn die Trommel auf die Seite gekippt wurde, meine Hand als Schatten sehen und es war auch nicht so dunkel, wenn man in die Trommel hineingekrabbelt ist.Ansonsten. bewährte REMO - Qualität
